First played was phantom hourglass, twilight princess was probably the most modern game when i was growing up and that did pique my interest, but i'll hold my hands up and say that yes botw was when i got really into the series instead of just enjoying from afar T_T

The first Zelda i ever played was Wind Waker, and is still by far my favorite game ever (probably just nostalgia). Since Covid, I've been emulating some Zelda's like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

I'm a decent chunk into Twilight Princess now, and while I know most of the lore/events, seeing it first hand is a great experience! And with the recent release of TOTK, I've been into Zelda more than ever.
Hoping that soon I'll end up binge playing all the games xP

growing up, i didnt have much technology! when i got my first paycheck from a crappy job at a restaurant, the first thing i did was get a friend to take me to gamestop lol. i bought a used switch and breath of the wild, and since then i've just loved the franchise. i wish i got to play more of the games growing up, but it's better late than never!

My very first Zelda game was BOTW, and it was my favorite game for awhile before OMORI. TOTK, however, is what made me a fan. I havent 100%ed any yet but I'm looking to 100% Link's Awakening on the switch

Only one I finished is ALttP. :(

I tried playing Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass once and OoT twice but the whole exploration thing isn't for me and I can't bear long games.

ALttP is super fun to me rn tho since I don't have to explore anymore now that I know the game, I'm currently playing ALttP rando right now.

first game was botw - it was in lockdown and i had just got a switch. haven't physically played any of the others (except loz 1 + 2, and totk obviously) but i really want to at some point. haven't got the money for switch online right now, but as soon as i do i reckon i'll play OoT

BOTW was the first game i actually beat but before that i would watch my uncle play. but within the past few years i have gotten and beaten most of the zelda games in the franchise. i love them especially The Links Awakening remake on the switch the style it was remade into fit the game perfectly and it was so charming and fun to play. more of my favorites are Skyward Sword(on both Switch and the wii), Wind Waker (on both Wiiu and Gamecube), and Twilight Princess on the Wii. here's a controversial Zelda take: i actually like Zelda 2!

My first LoZ game was Ocarina of Time on N64, currently have it for 3DS but no 3DS to play it on

I've also played Majora's Mask on N64, and previously played Spirit Tracks & a couple of others I'm ashamed to admit I can't remember much of

Ocarina of Time was my MAIN though. I know that one forward, backward, upside down & inverted lmao

The Legend Of Zelda: oracle of seasons & Oracle of Ages. The Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening (Which is now on the switch too!)

Of course, call it overrated if you want, but Ocarina of time it's the one i like the most... After The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.

I found botw, and that got me to buy totk, but I want to play twilight princess and skyward sword.

I like the whole open world idea (from botw), and I hope more zelda games use that format

The first Zelda game I ever saw (minus the original 8bit one) was BotW. My cousin was playing it and I distinctly remember thinking about how cool and complicated it was lol (I was so intrigued by the stamina wheel lollll) I was little, ok? I didn’t have any sort of gaming console then (except for the Wii, but we only had a few games and no big game series like Zelda or Mario, save for Mario Kart Wii) so I was intrigued by any video game. Then, fast forward to Christmas of 2019, we got a switch. I played a lot of the classic NES games and played the original Legend of Zelda. I found it hard and confusing so I didn’t play much of it, but my sister really liked A Link to the Past so I watched her play that. The next Christmas, we got BotW and I didn’t think I was going to like it, but boy was I wrong. I think that was the thing that really got me into the series.

The other Zelda games we have are Skyward Sword, the Link’s Awakening switch remake (I really loved that), TotK, Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time on an emulator, the originals on the NES and SNES, and the most recent, Echos of Wisdom.

I first started my love for the game around ocarina of time, after I beat that I took forever to try to beat Majoras mask, because I didn't understand the time mechanics at all. Took me a youtuber to perform a lets play for it to click in my head on what the game was about . But man did I love it. Loved Windwaker, played twilight princess which was OK gameplay wise. The story was the best part about the game in that one. After awhile I moved on to other games that took a bunch of my time, and it was either those games that I can play on the computer or buy a nintendo console to play one game. But in my opinion BOTW and TOTK aren't zelda games. They did away with the original formula that made Ocarina of time and its predecessors were famous for. It was a Zelda Flavored Survival Game with flash game toys .

Don't get me wrong , if you guys enjoy those games by all means. But I just can't get by the Master Sword being something that breaks and repairs itself on cooldown. Really tarnishes the name "Master" when the blade breaks to random goblins .
