Okay, this place needs a little (a lot) bit of Zelda

Forum: Games

What’s the first game you played, or the one that made you get I to the franchise? How many games have you cleared 100%

For me, the first one I played was the very first one, but I was too young, and it was way too complicated for me. I stumbled upon Zelda years later with ocarina of time and I was absolutely hooked after that!Β

Hahaha I can have an entire conversation with myself about this, but I’d love to get some more Zeldweebs in here <3Β

The Legend Of Zelda: oracle of seasons & Oracle of Ages. The Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening (Which is now on the switch too!)

Of course, call it overrated if you want, but Ocarina of time it's the one i like the most... After The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.

My first LoZ game was Ocarina of Time on N64, currently have it for 3DS but no 3DS to play it onΒ

I've also played Majora's Mask on N64, and previously played Spirit Tracks & a couple of others I'm ashamed to admit I can't remember much of

Ocarina of Time was my MAIN though. I know that one forward, backward, upside down & inverted lmao

BOTW was the first game i actually beat but before that i would watch my uncle play. but within the past few years i have gotten and beaten most of the zelda games in the franchise. i love them especially The Links Awakening remake on the switch the style it was remade into fit the game perfectly and it was so charming and fun to play. more of my favorites are Skyward Sword(on both Switch and the wii), Wind Waker (on both Wiiu and Gamecube), and Twilight Princess on the Wii. here's a controversial Zelda take: i actually like Zelda 2!

first game was botw - it was in lockdown and i had just got a switch. haven't physically played any of the others (except loz 1 + 2, and totk obviously) but i really want to at some point. haven't got the money for switch online right now, but as soon as i do i reckon i'll play OoT

Only one I finished is ALttP. :(

I tried playing Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass once and OoT twice but the whole exploration thing isn't for me and I can't bear long games.

ALttP is super fun to me rn tho since I don't have to explore anymore now that I know the game, I'm currently playing ALttP rando right now.

My very first Zelda game was BOTW, and it was my favorite game for awhile before OMORI. TOTK, however, is what made me a fan. I havent 100%ed any yet but I'm looking to 100% Link's Awakening on the switch

The first Zelda i ever played was Wind Waker, and is still by far my favorite game ever (probably just nostalgia). Since Covid, I've been emulating some Zelda's like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

I'm a decent chunk into Twilight Princess now, and while I know most of the lore/events, seeing it first hand is a great experience! And with the recent release of TOTK, I've been into Zelda more than ever.
Hoping that soon I'll end up binge playing all the games xP

First played was phantom hourglass, twilight princess was probably the most modern game when i was growing up and that did pique my interest, but i'll hold my hands up and say that yes botw was when i got really into the series instead of just enjoying from afar T_T

My parents bought Zelda games wayyy before I was born, but as I got older I developed an interest in them, so now I’m addicted :D.Β

I’ve never actually cleared a game, but I’ve practically cleared wind waker. I’d rather just do every quest and collect every item before even thinking about ending the game.Β

Zelda rules, I just started playing and loving Ocarina of Time after so long though which is funny because I reckon I've played most of every 2D Zelda at this point, Link to the Past is definitely my favorite. The only other 3D Zelda's I've tried are BotW and Skyward Sword. Really wanna give Twilight Princess a go too.

started with botw (i didn't play console games at all before i got my switch in 2020) I played skyward sword, although not 100% but close, i have all quests but not all items upgraded and not all goddess cubes chests. started playing ocarina of time, playing botw (i'm around 40% did all sidequests and got all armor) also have hyrule warriors but i'm not such a fan of it. planning on playing majora's mask and all the zelda games available on the 3ds. Glad to see more zeldaweebs here!

The first ever Zelda game I played was Phantom Hourglass and it's been my favorite ever since. I played an unhealthy amount of Skyward Sword. If I knew how to speedrun these games I could lmfao. Twilight Princess I played but my puppy decided to chew on the disk rip.Β

I think truly Majoras Mask is my favorite. Also I played some knock off flash Zelda games.Β

i got into zelda when i was like 7/8 through skyward sword and twilight princess (i was playing them simultaneously) and since then i've completely fallen in love with the series. i've beaten most the 3d games minus wind waker and majoras mask, and i've 100% skyward sword and oot.

All you need to know about the game: Linebeck is ridiculous and his theme slaps.

My first Zelda game was the first on the NES (yeah, I’m old). Didn’t own Zelda II but my aunt did so I could borrow it as long as she wasn’t playing it. Did own Link to the Past (still my favorite, and now playing through Randomizer seeds with it) and Ocarina of Time. I didn’t own Majora’s Mask (and Z II for that matter) until the GameCube promotional release. I got Wind Waker as well when I got my GameCube but, sadly, I never finished it… or any others after OoT until A Link Between Worlds. I restarted my playthrough of Breath of the Wild now on Twitch and I intend on finishing it. We’ll see how that goes..

Β I didn't get into Zelda until i got a switch and got BOTW. I've been obsessed with it ever since and have logged several thousands of hours spanned across different play files. I've also played the rerelease of Link's Awakening but i wasn't super into it, didn't end up finishing. I got Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time for the 3DS but i didn't end up finishing those either, i always just want to spend time playing botw lol

also, i successfully got my partner into BOTW and we have spent so much time watching each other play. i love it!
