Okay, this place needs a little (a lot) bit of Zelda

Forum: Games

What’s the first game you played, or the one that made you get I to the franchise? How many games have you cleared 100%

For me, the first one I played was the very first one, but I was too young, and it was way too complicated for me. I stumbled upon Zelda years later with ocarina of time and I was absolutely hooked after that!

Hahaha I can have an entire conversation with myself about this, but I’d love to get some more Zeldweebs in here <3

hey, just commenting this because i have made the same mistake & want to help my fellow spacehey-ers.  it seems u have posted this to the Art and Photography section by accident.  when u post a topic in forums, make sure u select which section of the forums u are posting it to.  like u can be in the section where u intend to post it and then when u click "post new topic" it will always set it to the "Art and Photography" section by default because that's the first one on the list in the drop down box on the posting page.  So a lot of topics are being posted in the Art and Photog section by accident.

My grandma got a Nintendo 64 when I was 5 or 6 (early 2000’s) she bought Ocarina and Majoras mask. She would have me read the dialogue so I can practice reading. This franchise holds a special place in my heart.

Ocarina of Time was probably my very first experience with video games I think. The first time I ever got to play instead of just watching my brothers play lol.

Okay, here's where my age is going to show lol
I first played video games on an Atari console (I'm talking the original, not this revamped stuff)
Then I got a Commodore 64 computer and that was it for me, I was hooked lol
Since then, I've played on almost every system out there with the exception of the newer play stations, the Xbox1, and a few handheld systems. I am most comfortable on a PC though.

I prefer rpgs over all other genres, and was and still am a fan of Zelda, Heck, I think that I have Rom somewhere..I just might have to dig that out lol :)

Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link often referred to as the bastard child of the series.

Took me 20 years to beat that game but I did it...eventually.

Anyone out there who beat this without a guide or YouTube videos is a gaming deity.

Sometimes I still have flashbacks of the death screen and pig Gannon laughing at me!

Well I'm a lot older than most of you but I remember my brother getting the original Zelda on NES, it came in a special golden cartridge and was so great!  I was about 8 and I played the f out of that game.

The first Zelda game I ever played was Ocarina of Time, and while it was a great game, I would have to say that my favorite is a tie between Majora's Mask and Breath of the Wild.

For some reason, the dark atmosphere of Majora's Mask is incredibly fascinating and rather replayable, especially if you're playing it to completion.

Breath of the Wild is the first Zelda game that I got on launch day, along with my Nintendo Switch. After work that day, I played it for 12 hours straight and played it every day for about a month and a half straight. Oddly enough, I only got around to beating the game recently.

I didn't get into Zelda until i got a switch and got BOTW. I've been obsessed with it ever since and have logged several thousands of hours spanned across different play files. I've also played the rerelease of Link's Awakening but i wasn't super into it, didn't end up finishing. I got Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time for the 3DS but i didn't end up finishing those either, i always just want to spend time playing botw lol

also, i successfully got my partner into BOTW and we have spent so much time watching each other play. i love it!

My first Zelda game was the first on the NES (yeah, I’m old). Didn’t own Zelda II but my aunt did so I could borrow it as long as she wasn’t playing it. Did own Link to the Past (still my favorite, and now playing through Randomizer seeds with it) and Ocarina of Time. I didn’t own Majora’s Mask (and Z II for that matter) until the GameCube promotional release. I got Wind Waker as well when I got my GameCube but, sadly, I never finished it… or any others after OoT until A Link Between Worlds. I restarted my playthrough of Breath of the Wild now on Twitch and I intend on finishing it. We’ll see how that goes..

I've fully completed Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild almost 3 times now. I am anxiously awaiting BoTW 2!

The first ever Zelda game I played was Phantom Hourglass and it's been my favorite ever since. I played an unhealthy amount of Skyward Sword. If I knew how to speedrun these games I could lmfao. Twilight Princess I played but my puppy decided to chew on the disk rip.

I think truly Majoras Mask is my favorite. Also I played some knock off flash Zelda games.

started with botw (i didn't play console games at all before i got my switch in 2020) I played skyward sword, although not 100% but close, i have all quests but not all items upgraded and not all goddess cubes chests. started playing ocarina of time, playing botw (i'm around 40% did all sidequests and got all armor) also have hyrule warriors but i'm not such a fan of it. planning on playing majora's mask and all the zelda games available on the 3ds. Glad to see more zeldaweebs here!

At the point when your PC pulls up a document off the hard drive, it loads it into your framework Smash with the goal that it can keep on getting to it quicker. The final product is a lot quicker to interact with your PC. The more Smash td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}https://knowledgestech.com/ you have the more projects and documents your PC can keep put away in your Slam.td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}

Zelda rules, I just started playing and loving Ocarina of Time after so long though which is funny because I reckon I've played most of every 2D Zelda at this point, Link to the Past is definitely my favorite. The only other 3D Zelda's I've tried are BotW and Skyward Sword. Really wanna give Twilight Princess a go too.
