Bollywood and other Indian cinema?

Really got into simply-want-to-be-entertained filmwatching this year, so lots of Bollywood. I like the conventions a lot but I don't think I've seen a single movie that I would put into like, my personal canon of must-sees. I just watched Dedh Ishqiya which is definitely the coolest Bollywood movie I've ever seen.

I've otherwise only ever watched Tollywood movies & I've really enjoyed some parallel cinema I've seen but don't have any favourites yet either. I recently watched an ethnographic documentary (?) about a couple of queer Indian couples' relationship dramas called Yeh Freedom Life & I loved that, but I love ethnographic films generally (on principle?)...
