Unfriended. Most people seem to think it's just fine, but I can't stand a single second of it. It exemplifies everything wrong with modern mainstream horror imo.

I HATE Death ship. I found it on amazon for free one night and thought "hey why not?". It sucks majorly. The plot is confusing, the acting is mediocre, and the amount of nazi imagery is just unnecessary. Basically, the survivors of this cruise shipwreck find this old warship and board but find no one there. They all start getting picked off one by one by the nazi ghosts. It's all around just a bad movie.

jeez there are so many I could shit on but my least favorites are the first halloween (i know sacrilege) and probably any saw movie (the first 2 are decent) because halloween is not scary whatsoever and saw is just unnecessary gore. I could most likely say that any sequel to a popular movie (like Scream, Friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street, etc.) is way too tacky and pretty much just a cash grab

Tusk definitely. I liked how over the top ridiculous some of the practical effects were, but it just wasn't scary OR funny

Im so sorry but Scream. I usually don't let other peoples opinions effect how I like something but social media ruined it for me. I used to love the scream movies but over the last year on tik tok it was a trend to dress up as sexy ghostface and everyone was buying the mask on amazon and making a video to that fucking tiktok sound. I cant watch the movies with out thinking of weird tiktok thirst traps so I just stay away.

Lights Out. The monster was scary, but the story was so dookie I feel like the whole budget went into the monster. It was predictable, not immersive at all, the story itself was boring, I just did not f w/ it

I feel that the conjuring series really is one of the worst horror saga ever made, it’s really lack lustre and boring, especially the 1st movie.

hmm i'd probably have to say pennywise. i felt it was kind of boring and the CGI looked kind of cheap which drastically impacted the scare factor of it

The Slenderman 2018 movie. I had such high expectations for it but it was just absolute shit: the characters are idiots, plain and one-dimensional, the dialogue is very clearly written by middle-aged people who know nothing about how teenagers talk (it truly had "How do you do, fellow kids?" vibe), it's non-sensical at best, the acting is mid and it honestly just hurt to watch. The audience was laughing in the theatre the whole time. They could've done so much (for example, I consider "Marble Hornets" a literal masterpiece) but they fucked it up all the way, nothing about it was decent.

Maybe I'm just judging a book by its cover or maybe i've seen part 3 and that was probably the weakest one but I've never really gotten into the Paranormal Activity franchise. I don't know why but I just saw it as these dull movies where the camera is focused on this one spot but if you stick with it, a chair will move or something and, again, maybe there's more to it than that. Am I being a little harsh on these movies?

Tbh it would be Silence of the Lambs that scared the living hell out of me. Like with all of the music and the way the actors protrayed it was amazing but still scary asf.

This one really shitty movie called “Freakshow.” It’s basically “oh look disabled people are so disgusting, and we aren’t gonna have gore until the very end so let’s put as many b00bs in the movie as we can.” The gore at the end was pretty gut wrenching so I’ll give it props for that, but Jesus does this movie suck lmao!

I would have to say that the one movie that I hated the most was Rubber . I sat there like an idiot and watched a damn tire roll around and kill people for a couple scenes then off it went. Yeah no it was lame. I know it was a horror comedy but come on .
