Absolutely. .  Often these are relatives, past life connections, ancestors, and others who want to connect with us. The universe has some unique ways of communicating!

I facilitate past life regressions and QHHT/Quantum Healing sessions that take people in between lives, so there are a lot of different things that CAN happen- just about as many things as can happen during a physical incarnation. Here's my FB group is anyone is interested in following these types of things.

I believe in buddhist reincarnation which has a few different places for your soul to go based on the karma you have. For instance being reincarnated as an animal is less fortunate than being a human because animals tend it suffer more in their life time. The lowest place is hell and just above that is the spiritual relm. This is why communicating with spirts can be dangerous. Its not a good place to be and while some spirts have interest in becoming better, others continue to act ignorant and evil and will do anything for attention from the living possibly hoping you could free them. Added I also have had lots of contact with spirits and experience being around and in close proximity to them.

I do but it's not something we can solve, I believe in an afterlife too just that it wont be what we expect.

YES

The house I grew up in was haunted. I haven't lived in a haunted house since then, which is a good thing.

I lived there from age 4-19. It was out in the middle of nowhere. There was a graveyard across the street that was unmarked, old, and never got mowed. Behind the house was this field with a  big dead tree with these flat stones that sat upright in the ground. It was obviously old gravestones that just weren't shaped or marked. The farmer who owned the land always let me go out and explore. TON of land with a couple of ponds and so forth. Every time I'd go out there, I'd come back with at least 3 arrow heads.
Also, the house was built on top of an old well, which made "The Ring" terrifying for me.
There must've been a lot that happened on that land. So many weird things happened there. I've got so many stories from there.

So yeah, there's no way I could ever deny the existence of ghosts/the afterlife/ect after spending over a decade in the middle of it.
Here's to hoping I'm never living on haunted land again.

Yes, I do believe in ghosts and the afterlife, but it isnt as simple as that. I believe that there is an afterlife, but its determined by what youve done like major events. If your good moments outway the bad, you can choose to be reincarnated or proceed to an after life. But if your bad moments outway the good, you are forced to either be reincarnated or to roam as a spirit until someone living fixes your misdeeds.

I do, but I feel like it’s some kind of peaceful limbo where spirits either watch over something in our world, or they finally rest and then reincarnate. I’m not really sure, but I do think there is something beyond us, it’s cool reading everyone else’s thoughts on this.

I've seen things, I've experienced things. WEIRD things. However: I have no way of knowing if it's "really them" (i.e., actual spirits of people who died) or not.

This morning maybe two hours ago, I could see someone wearing white. It was someone standing next to me, like looking over my shoulder. Then something dropped next to me. I look down to pick it up and the figure has now moved to walk to the end of my hall.

See them all the time, but mostly when I'm not my happiest. So to answer your question: Yeah. Very much.

ghosts r probably real considering how many different things can happen to ur soul when u die. dont really doubt theres been a few ppl who got turned into ghosts that roam earth for whatever reason, although their usual depiction is probably wrong and they can come in multiple forms like most entities

I absolutely love this topic, here's why:

I've never been much of a spiritual person. Didn't really believe in ghosts as a kid, nothing haunted or of the sorts.

However, around a year and a half ago, I lost someone very important to me.

Now, me and him had a very special connection. Was it a trauma bond? Sure, you can call it that. Regardless, we were the same person down to the T. Similar thought processes, ways of movement, even our physical features were aligned in a way that couldn't be coincidental.
We had a park that we would always go to together; sit on the bench and talk deeply about our lives and some philosophy here and there, maybe enjoy a beer or two. Over time, this park became a special spot for us, I guess so special that it started to display some ominous traits.
For starters, the park seemed to draw us in like moths to a lightbulb. We could be taking a walk, letting our subconscious take us wherever it wanted to while our active minds were focused on conversation, and we would end up standing under the dimmed lights that littered that doomed park. Every. God. Damned. Time.
Fast-forward about a month, to May of two-thousand and twenty, when my dear friend and possible twin-flame had taken his own life.

Where did he take his own life, you may ask? He took it at the park.

Beforehand, this park was sketchy enough. Between the flickering lights and strange bubble and pull effects it had on me and my friends, it appeared that nothing else could possibly make this park any more out of the ordinary. Boy, was I in the wrong on that take.
Multiple times a week, I will go sit at that park. Sit on those same benches me and him sat on, lay down in the itchy grass illuminated by dusty yellow lights, and look up at the same sky we would stargaze months and months before. And every time, I can FEEL him.
I don't mean him physically touching me, what I mean is that I can feel his aura, or his presence, whatever you would like to call it, tagging along with me wherever I go within the park's boundaries.
I believe that me and my friend "spoke the paranormal into existence", which created a safe-haven for his soul in the afterlife. Our connection was so strong that we created a force that could allow him to freely walk the park, even after his passing.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this story, I've never really believed in ghosts. Hell, this could just be my mind protecting me from the fact that my best friend is dead, gone forever. But, regardless, this scarily beautiful story has really changed my outlook on what happens after death..

Hope this read was enjoyable.

Please remember to check up on the people you love. Never let anyone suffer alone and in silence. Every voice deserves to be heard. Have a beautiful night.

Ghost yes afterlife no

I think the concept of a afterlife is there to make people comfortable with dying, I think people don't want expect the fact that if there isn't a afterlife everything u did while living was pointless

My stance is stuff goes on and I can't always understand it. I'm a metaphysical being myself in a system where there's a lot of weird things which happen, Tarot is strangely accurate for me, working with deities seems to work and garners results. I just exist with it.

I am an agnostic atheist, but I do not rule out the possibility of an afterlife. We could have a form of reincarnation. We don't remember anything before we were formed as a fetus, and I think the same goes after we die, but maybe we will be born again as a different being or person. Maybe nothing is black forever and we eventually are born again as something new but with no memory of a past life.

As for the paranormal, we could just be energy. Our presence could still be around even after our bodies fade. I had experiences as a kid and seen an apparition myself. It's very complex and anything could be possible.

Yes, but only because it's impossible for me to think of death without imagining myself living.

This is what I mean. I like to think that the end of life is just this empty, black, void of eternal nothingness (just because we get to float around and not exist), but that would imply that that is the afterlife. Take the phrase I put in parentheses: "we get to float around and not exist". Those two statements negate eachother. If we do not exist, we can't go through the action of floating around. This means that the afterlife comprises of some image of ourselves floating around in nothingness.

I can't imagine what happens when we die because I'll always put myself in that place, which means there's an afterlife of some kind. It doesn't matter if the afterlife is heaven or hell or some woods or a grassy field where we roam around in cotton tunics like we're in a commune or something, or in an eternal pit of darkness, because I always think of some image of myself existing in that space.

I think that's because it's hard for people (not all people, but at the very least me) to imagine just not existing entirely. Existence is all we have ever known, however our individual brains perceive that existence. I can easily imagine myself not existing in this world but I can't imagine myself just straight up not existing, because to imagine myself not existing would mean I could not fathom the idea that I no longer existed. Because I wouldn't exist.

To realize I was dead I would need to be alive in some way. So, I think there is an afterlife. Otherwise, how do I know I'm dead?

i believe in ghosts. not sure about the afterlife. like someone else was saying here, i feel like the afterlife would just be a void, nothing. i get panicked if i think about it for too long. sometimes i want to just go into the void but i'm worried if i'll be conscious there, knowing that i could never return back to life and forever stuck on the plane of nothing.

but other times i just say fuck it and do whatever the fuck i want because i know we're all going to same fucking place in the end.

i also believe in positive and negative energies, demons, angels, tulpas...

I believe that people who claim to see ghosts actually see demons. I've always felt their presence and sometimes been able to see things and it's just the only thing that makes sense.

In terms of afterlife, I really have no idea and I get too overwhelmed by what ifs to think about it too hard.

If willpower is a force like magnetism is an invisible, formless force; then perhaps our main self is some element we haven't measured. Maybe a faetus needs it to work like attracting a protein into a core cell. Lots of things fly through our bodies all the time and it could be why a large percentage of still-births have no apparent medical reason.

In all fairness I believe that each and everyone of us have had different experiences and therefore have different beliefs , with that being said ....I do believe in spirits and ghosts.

There have been so many encounters some good some negative. I think what it all comes down to is what we ourselves can account for or perceive as one of these moments.

* My older brother had always been close to my 6 sisters and I  as he was the only brother and eldest he was well loved. He would come by almost on a daily to one of my sisters at lunch time. He would walk in with his smile and say "whats for lunch sis?" He would sit at the table and my sister would give him a tortilla as he waited to be served. This was an everyday thing.

When my brother passed away or rather someone took my brothers life... only a couple days had passed when my sister was in the kitchen as always and out of the corner of her eye she sees my brother walk in and greet her as usual. He sat at the table with his smile and asked "what's for lunch sis?" my sister didn't know how to react she just smiled and as she turned around he was gone.....

some say she imagined it but till this day she says it's true........

so many more experiences that i personally have had I probably could write a book. Some one once told me I am what they call a sensitive.....

Anyway I hope you enjoy my short account of a spirits visit.....

Yes to both. We've picked up so many messages from my grandpa since he passed away. His soul is still present. Not sure he's a ghost, but souls definitely don't disappear.

On ghosts, I did see a spirit once as a kid. Was it a ghost, or a presence, it's hard to decide.

Something.

What that something is? I don't know. I've just had experiences that make me believe there's more beyond our understanding. Nothing like a heaven or hell. Just, that when we go, there's more to it. Before my grandma had passed earlier this year, I actually had a dream warning me of it. Mind you, I'm all the way on the other side of our country and had no contact with her. Yet, I had this dream showing me she was going to pass the day before I got the phone call. How do you explain that? I want an answer. But, I know I don't have one and probably won't ever have one until my time comes.

Yes, I fully believe in ghosts/spirits. My deceased dad came to me, sat next to me on my bed(felt him as though it was actually his body) and told me that my mother was very dying and asking for me. I responded verbally and he said I didn't need to speak that we can hear each other's thoughts. I told him I knew she was sick and I was trying to gather the money for the flight to go be with her. He said not to worry that he would make certain I'd get the money. An hour and a half later a friend called me and I told her what was going on with my mom. I had no idea while talking with her she was online booking me the first flight available. If not for my deceased dad and friend I wouldn't have been with my mom when she died. I'm so ever grateful and thankful for my friend.

I honestly think that ghosts and spirits do exist, I just think that they have an alternate dimension that they exist in, and only at certain times when our two worlds collide do we actually see them/ are able to interact with them. If the cycle of life went this way I wouldn't complain much lol.

I think there might be something beyond the dead yk. Energy can not be created or destroyed, so the energy from the dead person or being must go somewhere, right? Of course that might be in the ground or something. But I'm not sure if I quite believe in ghosts. Because in most instances with ghost stories or experiences, there can always be logical explanations as to why that happened. Whether it has to do with physics, science, etc. Yet again, some things are hard to explain so i'm not sure. I just mainly think that people like the idea of ghosts or becoming a ghost once you're dead as something comforting, or just an easy thing to explain for something strange that happened.

Yeah I think that after people die, their spirit is still out there, and we just don't know where it is. In a way, it feels like a scavenger hunt. Like, they're still roaming around aimlessly to find a purpose as they did on Earth in their physical bodies.

My grandpa died of Covid on February 23th, 2021. Since his passing,
we've received several signals that could only emanate from him. My nan
found a pink rose petal under the pages of her book a few days after
the funeral : he always gifted her pink roses. Then my sister believed
she had a conversation with him in her dreams. But the most striking one
is there : since his passing, my dad hasn't won a single round of Rami,
the typical card game they used to play together. His hand always ends
up filled with the lowest cards possible! Both were so keen of this game
that they even turned it into a weekly tornament. So, we believe my
grandpa is messing with the cards just to make fun of his son, something
he did often while he was still with us.

Their souls, their spirits are always here with us.
