Really excited to check out what everyones posted! Heres my fave weird songs:

(Jello Biafra from the DK's side project! his other side project Tumor Circus is good if you like chaotic noise rock/metal, but mostly doesn't hit my "weird" threshold lol)
The Garden - Clench to Stay Awake, or :(, or Cloak
(One of the best + most inventive current bands in my opinion! Their sound varies so much  that I cant really pick any one song as a showcase. More recent stuff is more listenable but not less weird? Just go try all of it!)

Probably anyone clicking on this thread has heard of Galás, Foetus, & Neubauten but I didn't see them mentioned yet, so I had to add!

"Deep internet" music is a subgenre of plunderphonics that uses obscure / unknown YouTube videos and other internet media for it's sample sources, often under 20 views and found via sites such as PetitTube.
Musically, it most often resembles sound collage, field recordings, and vaporwave.

I tried my own hand at it. I haven't got any followers yet. My source materiels are obscure vlogs from fringe characters in Maine where I grew up.

My music is definitely uh... out there? compared to mainstream music people like these days, it's like a mix of hyperpop, rap, screamo, nightcore, dubstep, crunkcore, etc.

here's a song for an example: https://youtu.be/yFtFzUjzRZc

We make "shamancore". It's basically ritualistic electroacoustic hardcore techno and speedcore.

there's some really obscure death core out there if you're interested, but personally I like REALLY weird industrial! Nothing's working by error is really good, Infinity Sect is a really good industrial artist too! If you're looking for something more electronic, portion control and chemlab are artists you shld definitely look into :) hope this helps!

I recently found The Sound Of Animals Fighting. I'm not sure what took me this long because I've always been a fan of Anthony Green and Craig Owens. Very experimental music from the mid-2000s, and their live DVD (found on youtube) is a masterpiece. Highly recommended.

rainbow bridge 3 by sematary is my favorite experimental music project out there. all the tracks are distorted as hell in the best way possible. here's a link to the full mixtape on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1E5rhcfNYw&list=PLR3Jem1TulMwZS9q3iALwD2N_cfevYAuK

Here's something I made recently, a generative ambient track created with my biggest modular patch to date. I was heavily inspired by Suzanne Ciani's 1975 Buchla concerts and I wanted to try to capture the mystique of the past that they seem to emanate. I also thought a lot about the deep sea and bio luminescence when making this.
