nightmare disorder??

ok so i have this weird thing thats been happening to me even when i was younger, i have been havin nightmaresn like every month. its gotten so bad that ive been tracking it n since 2021 ive been havin like up to 3-6 nightmares EVERY MONTH

ive been diagnosed w havin sleep anxiety (idek what this rlly means tbh cus the doc never did anythin else abt it) so idk if its apart of that but yea its weird n its not like a regular scary ass clown dream like i have dreams of someone breaking into my house, getting r@ped, a sch00l sh00ter coming into my classroom, being caught in the middle of a war, gettin into a car crash, seeing my family/friends gettin mutilated in front of me, etc. its like actual TRAUMATIZING dreams n shit

does anybody know what this is called ?? is it a nightmare disorder or? idk what can stop this cuz ive been scared to go to sleep cuz of this

I have the same thing. I have at least 4 absolutely traumatizing nightmares you could think of PER MONTH. I don’t have an answer necessary for you, but I have the same thing. I have dreams where I’m being dragged under the water by my dead aunt, or that my entire house is falling into a sinkhole and I can’t get out. Or I’m just left all alone in a giant field where I can feel there is something trying to get me but I can’t see it. Or like you said, my family getting mutilated in front of me. I don’t know where these dreams are coming from either but I also have an anxiety disorder 👍

This is a sign of extreme emotional distress that you do not feel able to express in your waking life. If your looking for spiritual solutions, lets start with something easy and see if it has an affect:

Get some lavender

Spray lavender on your bedding, hang dried lavender over your bed, drink lavender tea. Lavender is calming is used for peaceful sleep.

sounds like chronic nightmares!!! i have these too when we’re reallyyyy stressed and it sounds like your sleep anxiety could cause it! try to do something that relaxes you before bed like meditating, listening to calming music or whatever relaxes you best!! if it keeps up and you can maybe talk to your doctor and see if theres any solutions they can offer. or try melatonin! good luck these really are the worst D8
