The latest Carcass album (Torn Arteries) was surprisingly good.  It's what could have come out between Necrotism and Heartwork.  I typically only listen to Reek, Heartwork, and the Tools of the Trade EP, but I've been finding myself listening to this a lot more than them.  Very strongly recommend it.

200 Stab Wounds is a death/slam metal band from Ohio who just released their first full-length yesterday and I was impressed by it.  It was on Maggot Stomp Records.  Most "osdm" revival bands lately have been sounding just like each other and don't have memorable riffs, but these guys are awesome.

New Mortiferum (Preserved in Torment) is great death/doom, came out like a week ago and is far better than the previous one.  It's absolutely crushing.

You can find all of these on bandcamp, spotify, youtube, etc...

There's a few I recommend. Linkin Park is a great metal artist, especially if you already enjoy Rap. But if you enjoy heavier stuff than check out Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, and System of a Down.

I am Yoo-sook, I play all the instruments and do the vocals for my Nu Asian Black Metal band, Escapade To Serenity.

The music is a mix of black metal and metalcore influences, and draws heavily from bands such as Ramones, Catherine (the metalcore band), Crystal Lake, Burzum, and so many others!

A new song is coming on the 23rd of February and it is called 「Encounters at Shi Ting」

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow is a great album. Its got gentle ballads (Temple of the King) and prototypical heavy metal (Sixteenth Century Greensleeves). Also Long Live Rock and Roll by the same band. Really anything DIO, cant go wrong.

Manowar's "The Triumph of Steel" is also excellent if you want something similarly fantasy-oriented but heavier

Well the main way most people i know started off with metal was listening to Slipknot and Motionless in White, Pantera and early metal-core era of Bring Me The Horizon, and Black Sabbath too, it really depends what type of metal but i'd suggest checking these out if you don't know them because they're pretty decent.
