newer or older horror movies? also, whats your fav new or old horror movie? feel free to recommend it to me if u want !
personally i feel like newer movies arent as good as the older ones. they rely wayyy too much on CGI for everything and try too hard to make the movies scarier than they are by adding stupid plot twists or gimmicks. they also just are the same rinse-and-repeat plots over n over again which is rlly dissapointing. this doesn’t go for all new horror movies, and i’d love for someone to prove me wrong here !!but i also can say that while horror movies do have the retro charm and nice practical effects, they usually were a lot more exploitative/abusive of their casts and also rlly oversexual with women (making them run around naked half the time or just trying to get them in scenes where it would be so irrelevant for them to be naked. like bro ur just weird.)
those r just my opinions!! feel free to give me movies of either category that disprove me and ill find time to watch them (ill tell you if ive alr seen them fyi)
