Anyone doing Online School?

Hello! Like the title asks, I'm wondering if anyone here does online school (strictly-online schools  or otherwise) and if you enjoy it better than actual school. Specifically, I'm curious about how exactly online college works. Is it considered real education? Is it cheaper than IRL college? 

I'm considering joining an online school called Full Sail University because I don't have any solid animation schools around me and I think that's something I would like to do. I just don't want it to turn out that the education isn't considered real education and I'm not able to get a job.
