have you ever communicated with the dead via dreams?

a few years ago, i had a dream that i was in the house of a couple i knew while growing up that had recently passed. the house was empty, and it was early morning or late afternoon, nothing weird was happening i just walked through the house from room to room.

despite it sounding sad, i felt generally at peace and a really strong sense of comfort, like this was the way things were and how they should be- the natural order of things.

in the morning after i woke up and went about my day, my mother mentioned to me that it would've been the woman's birthday. thinking about that dream always makes me feel safe, like the dead can still communicate with us through our dreams.
