I'm a pretty bad procrastinator. If I need to get something done, I'll try to go to a super boring place with no distractions (for studying I go to the top floor of the library where it's quiet and there are no people). If you have stuff to memorize, quizlet saved my life.

Ik this is hella late but I’ve got end of years coming up soon too. If you’re doing essay based subjects then I’d recommend just doing tons of essays (timed ones too, I’m rlly bad with timings) even if it feels like torture. Blurting is great too. Ive got this weird method where I have key ideas on small pieces of paper (they kinda look like flash cards) and I would get a random card and say whatever I remember about it then I’d get another card and see if I can link them. With the cards I can also make mind map kinda things too. It’s really useful for me because it involves tons of methods!

I hope you did well on your exams!

Going to a library and studying there really helped me a lot, I usually get distracted but in there, I could focus for hours. I didn't even notice I studied all day! Also it's a great way to socialise I think, going out everyday and reading books there can make you feel productive. Studying at home doesn't feel as organised as studying somewhere else.

I couldnt revise or remember anything to save my life but towards the exams starting I did what many teachers told me to do. And that was flashcards, it may not sound the best but honestly it worked like a charm and makes things so much more easier to remember!

My methodology when it comes to studying is to make your surroundings more related to studying the first place; so say, you have a really uncomfortable chair which creeks and makes random noises or is just really uncomfortable to sit in, if that's so, get a more comfy chair! A comfy chair that you could literally just sit in for hours on end. Then get writing utensils which you find good or at least ok to write with. I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way but I find the typical, cheap ballpoint pens annoying and almost unbearable to write with so instead I use a rotring 600, it's heavy so my hands doesn't start veering off hence, avoiding producing just horrid hand writing and is actually satisfying to grip onto. Try applying this subtly to your workspace and see if it works or not. I'd also recommend just using flashcards like the people above are recommending I got an A for my Science finals just because of it; I'd recommend using a flashcard program like Anki because it helps with creating flashcards on mass but some people prefer their flashcards to be physical. I hope this helps!

- Use a pomodoro timer. Usually I do 25/5 because I have a short attention span, but you can tweak it to find one that works best. If you have to cram or have a long attention span I recommend 45/15 or 40/20.

- Quizlet, kahoot, freerice, or similar websites.

- Have an A4 sheet of paper and try to put down all the necessary info on it. It's essentially making a cheat sheet, whether you're allowed to use it on the test or not.

Hello. I recognize that exam studying is difficult, especially when time runs outBelow are some tips that can help: set a study timetable, use the active repetition method, master practice tests and assignment, provide yourself with a good study place, and also do not forget to rest.
Best of luck for your exams!

Hey everyone, I’m currently working on a research paper and I’m really struggling with coming up with a strong hook to start it off. I know the introduction sets the tone, and I want to grab my reader’s attention right away, but I’m not sure how to do that effectively without sounding too dramatic or off-topic. Does anyone have any tips or examples on how to write a compelling hook for a research paper? I read some tips on https://writepaperfor.me/ but I want to get more infromation. Any help would be appreciated!

Back in college, I was the kind of person who’d write essays at 3 a.m. the night before they were due, fueled by panic and bad coffee. That habit stuck with me for years until I realized it was killing my productivity at work too. I started looking for something that would help me stay on track without feeling overwhelming, and that’s when I found the liven app. It gave me a system that’s simple enough to stick with, which was exactly what I needed to finally break that last-minute rush habit.
