Ok so for the past year-ish I’ve been having the same dream about my birth mother turning into a spider and trapping me in a web. Does this have any special meaning or have I just watched Coraline 1 to many times??

While dream symbolism is dependent on the dreamer's cultural symbolism as well as personal associations, this sounds like you may be feeling trapped or smothered by your mother. Perhaps she's a helicopter parent?
