From what I've seen online these people are 1 of 2 things.
#1 - abusers, just like her.
#2 - support her simply because she is a woman and will deny Depp only because he is a man
Of course, in the case of the mainstream media, they still support her because they took her side BEFORE the truth came out and if they admitted they were wrong, it would make them look bad (though how much worse can they look, they are still defending her afterall). I'm sure her new PR team is making it lucrative for those media outlets that continue to run pro-Amber stories.

They were in a toxic relationship; they were both awful to each other. Relationships that are codependent but awful for each other are common, and this one was just televised.
Yes Amber did shit to Johnny, but he did shit back at her.
I think people using him as an example of "see? men can be victims too!!!" but no one was questioning that in the first place, of course, men can be victims; I just think Amber was just as a victim as he was in an abusive, toxic, codependent relationship.
I feel like another important question is, do either of them deserve redemption?
