Skating Polly is an awesome grunge band, my favourites of theirs are "I'm Cheap (They're Free)", "Camelot" and "Perfume for Now".

well the classic is The Runaways, it was a all female band and Joan Jett was apart of it. Then you got the Riot Grrl genre which is basically feminist punk rock, popular bands include Bikini Kill and Bratmobile. Hole is another all-female band andddd i cant think of anything else.
