My first creepypasta that brought me into the fandom was jeff the killer from a gacha story T-T

Me 2 Lol, My first creepypastas were Jeff & Jane the Killer (And then I think It was Slenderman) So basically I was 5 Or 6 And I was scrolling through YouTube! And I used to watch these guys (Dlive22892 & Entowinthepack or smth like that) Play Little Big Planet horror levels, And that how I found my first creepypasta :DD (And then from that I found Jane the killer & Slenderman) :3

jeff or slenderman was the first one I heard about, but laughing jack was the first story I actually read.

for me it was the suicidal mouse thing in elementary school. A kid left after watching it in school so it was coincidental so we all thought it was a curse or something. Seeing it years later it’s not very scary anymore, which is a lil disappointing ;-;

Either Slenderman or Jeff the Killer and both scared me shitless especially Jeff, I used to make up different escape routes in my head before bed or thought about how I'd defend myself just in case he somehow came in through my closed window lmao

I had heard of Slenderman (movies and video games), but I didn't care that much, and I still didn't know what a creepypasta was. But then I discovered Jeff The Killer, and I got so hooked that I discovered a world.

Even though I don't remember much, I know that the first one was Slenderman and I got to watch things that I never found again! But after a while, when I returned to the fandom, it was 'Ticci' Toby

Definitely Slenderman. I remember all the photos and videos that were floating around the internet. Also watched all the marble hornets videos on YouTube. Those are the reason I got into creepypasta.

It's probably Herobrine for me, but I found out about a few others like SmileDog, Slenderman and The Rake around the same time.

My first was Slenderman and then a STEADYYYY decline to Jeff the killer and other hella romanticized characters.

it was 2018 and I was on yt then I stumbled upon SLENDERMAN

Jeff the killer was what got me into the fandom back in like 2015

This is super old school, but for me, it started way back when chain letter emails were relevant. Carmen Winstead's story scarred me at the tender age of like, 8.

i think it was either Sonic EXE or MLP creepypastas 

I can't exactly remember but I think it was first hearing about slenderman and then diving deeper, and specifics of what got me into it i think was jeff the killer

Slenderman was my first. I remember learning about him when I was in the 3rd grade, when my older cousin told me stories about how the Slenderman was going to get me. Scared the shit out of me but I was a little kid growing up at the time where the internet and social media was still developing, so I had unlimited internet access and out of curiosity I searched up the slenderman and found fanmade videos of people who claimed to have caught the slenderman on video. 

It scared me more, but I kept on looking. I developed a strange fascination with the Slenderman. And during the early years of when I was in the 4th grade. I was hooked on him.

Still a big fan of him, wish his character was given more justice when it comes to big screen filming.

it was either jeff the killer or slenderman in 2015, dats the year i got into horror n stuf

in 4th grade, an online friend made a Jane the Killer roleplay account on Instagram. I was already familiar with the character at the time, but that was probably my first time interacting with the fandom. pushed me to make a roleplay account for Sally on musical.ly (gosh this was old) and I got pretty into that I eat pasta for breakfast comic.

prior to that, when I was around 7 I was friends with this boy who was superrr into slenderman, so we'd explore the woods behind our elementary school to look for him after school. the most we found was two 20-ish yo guys drinking and sitting on some big rocks. pretty lame.

if we wanna go wayyyyy back to the first exposure of creepypasta it probably was slenderman but one i can remember of hearing is the Pinkamina story my friend told me in middle school, though it definitely was just an abridged overview of it LOL. 

I wasn't allowed much online as a kid so stories like that were few and far between, making it hard to remember. That, or Slenderman wiped my mind ahahaha
