have you seen the favourite? its stars rachel weisz, emma stone, and olivia coleman in a lesbian love triangle and its set in elizabethan england, it’s hilarious and extremely entertaining but not that angsty if that’s what you’re looking for. blue (2003) is a japanese wlw film that made me scream cry and throw up cause of how real it was like im not joking some of my other favs which are explicitly wlw include the handmaiden, the children’s hour, the third wife, typhoon club, and being john malkovich (for this one the wlw aspect is not a main aspect at all but its still a great movie anyway)
