it's hard to take this sub seriously when, for example, the reasoning is shallow, the issue being "ethnocentric", the desire for utopia is way too selfish to pass on everyone etc. even disregarding the history for those who are affected by it.

also, are there even right winger here to begin with? no, not one of *those* kind. the free market gun loving freedom kind.

Never really took this forum seriously. I just post interesting news I'd find on my timeline regardless of my political leanings and I want to see people talk about them instead of doomposting and doomscrolling others' likeminded opinion over and over again.

Speaking of which, Dire Wolves are sort of being revived. Pretty neat.

Well I’m here now. Time to make the dumpster fire go nuclear =P

Speaking of dire wolves… American politics kind of has a Game of Thrones feel to it these days. So who’s gonna end up being Daenerys?

yea, if spacehey isn't careful it might turn into /pol/ or worse, /pol/ and /b/ are what murdered 4chan imo and lets ensure it doesnt happen to spacehey.

I don't really think it's a good idea honestly. Even if it starts as calm politics It may still nosedive like /pol/ or something. It'll probably just become an echo chamber for whatever group is the majority here. But it's better than the entire site going to shit

I think mourning ahead of time is never a good thing! This isn't a algorithmic feed based site so I don't think politics really will be that bad here; especially since things move slower so mods can ban people easier. Speaking of banning, I don't believe spacehey will ever be as bad as /pol simply because of the difference in rules.
