i havent read it, but that one anime (i think its one day in mai-chan's life) that is really disturbing from the moment i saw the picture on an iceberg. 

I love Devil's Line and Ojou to Banken-kun, but it has some strange scenes with ugly eyes or expression. Don't get me wrong, I liked seeing some episodes and I know that is a little old, but Ouran High School Host Club is a little ugly.. Everyone's body is weirdly skinny and 'tall', just the beauty of japan at that time, but I find it strange..

Anything toei ever touched

I love the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, its a great anime for me. But the endless august saga is just a big NO NO, for me. Like really. The same episode made a lot of times, just to feel what kyon & nagato are feeling. I get it, BUT C'MON! They could have adapted so many more episodes from the novel, so i believe. 

As much as i love that anime. Endless august episodes really made me have a love-hate feeling towards the Anime.

 High School Dxd, Omlll So in 2020, or 2019 my online boyfriend told me to watched it. What the fuck. The plot, the characters design, AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE MAIN CHARACTER holy shit, I vividly remember telling my online boyfriend, that the whole show sucked. He told me to keep watching it. Well, Did I? Fuck. No. 

I HATE the one piece artstyle, I watched it and I was struggling same with 2001 fruits basket, and highschool DXD, oh and Jojos I love it but the artstyleee..

I wouldn't say it's the ugliest, it's not even ugly, but I would say the anime Bungo Stray Dogs. I hate the way Bones changed the designs of literally all the characters of the show and didn't stick at all to the artstyle of the manga. The fisheyes, the smiles... Ik they're a joke in the fandom, but really it's bad and almost disrespectful to the manga.

Looking back, Vampire Knight's style didn't age super well for me.

for me its absolutely baki. the character designs and facial expressions are grotesque, and if you pay attention you can tell that the majority of the animation budget went to the fights and unnecessary shading while stuff like lip syncing got ignored.

I'm sure someone at some point said it, but the 2016 Berserk ataptation. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to use 3d models for advanced scenes such as fight scenes (in fact Chainsaw Man does it surprisingly well), but it's rare to see scenes that have been hand animated. Even then, it's impossible to recreate the graphical fidelity of the manga because of how detailed every panel is.

im kind of shocked no ones mentioned it yet, but the first two seasons of black butler. the best thing about it is by FARRRR the backgrounds. even without the ass anime-only additions (seriously wtf was the cult episode??) this anime would still look bad. and dont even get me STARTED on the god awful cgi horses. in season 3 & 4 and the 2017 movie the animation (and plot) is considerably better but oh my god the first two seasons are so baddd

nyan neko sugar girls, that is both the ugliest and the best anime there will ever be. Is it an anime? no, but it still kicks ass.

i tend to drop anime if i really cant stand the art (ik its petty! but if looking at it really bugs me it makes it hard to enjoy for me) but, i really cannot stand the attack on titan artstyle, honestly. especially any image ive seen of later seasons - i dont watch aot, but... i dont know what they're doing with the shading but it just looks so weird - especially all those horizontal lines around the eyes? it just looks out of place entirely.

I can't even remember the name because it immediately upset me with how ugly it is. It was something about motorized homes turned into mechs for racing? I don't even remember exactly but it was so ugly I couldn't get past the first episode.
