im not even going to read the replies on here because i can tell just from glancing at them that they're WAY beyond what i can handle, so i feel kind of silly for posting this, but honestly? the bay. i couldn't even finish it, just the scene towards the beginning alone when the whole town starts to get sick. All those people throwing up, that one woman panicking and begging for help / her husband, all those kids... and knowing none of them survived and probably died slowly and terrified. to me, it's not horror, it's more gut-twisting tragedy. at least when a slasher kills someone it's usually quick and campy (not always), and in this same sense i also hate the final destination movies for the same reasons. just... horrible stuff happening to people that didn't deserve it.

probably Mother!

it's one of the only movies i've ever had to stop watching, the end is just.. completely fucking brutal and awful. feels like nonsense misery porn for the sake of misery. that's some peoples cup of tea, and power to them - but definitely not for me. stuff like The Poughkeepsie Tapes is tame in comparison, in my opinion.

A Serbian film

just 30 minutes into the movie it genuinely felt so illegal and wrong to be watching it holy shit

there's an insane amount of stuff that's like really fucked up and im not even sure if i can talk about half of it here. Just so yall have an idea a dude literally kills someone by shoving his erect....ahem in the guys eye socket AND THATS LITERALLY NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE MORE DISTURBING SHIT THAT HAPPENS IN THIS MOVIE

overall mid ash, not scary just disgusting and will leave you heavily disturbed even days after watching it.

I’ve seen loads of messed up and sick horror movies that still to this day scare me. Here are my top 3 :

1. Hereditary

2. Human centipede

3. The visit

I’m sorry but these have given me trauma. These are rated as some of the worst horror movies ever made. Causing nightmares, trauma and fear to people. And ofc I only found this out AFTER I watched the movie :p

Anyway if anyone’s watched these movies please tell me

I dont think I’ve watched enough of the really gruesome movies, but one that definitely is pretty gorey is Willy’s Wonderland. It’s got a bunch of different deaths and it has a pretty decent plot. It definitely has FNAF vibes, though.

I don't remember the name but it was in Indonesian, it was a remake of Halloween but added a bunch of unnecessary gore to the point there was barely any plot. I don't recommend it tbh it was just a bad movie. For example there would be random flashes of guts or something but like in the old 90's dream sequence style if that makes sense? (人◕ω◕)

I cant remember the name but its a japanese one, its on youtube (which is crazy since it doesnt have censure) It was about a girl who was kidnapped by some weird guy on the street, he wanted to turn her into "art", basically a whole film of him mutilating the girl in horrible ways, shes not even completely unconscious, pretty vomitous if you ask me. The director said he wanted to show how Japanese society was "rotting" but it really seems like he just wanted to do something  reaaally bizarre. Although i dont have the title, i personally do not recommend to search for it, neither for morbidity nor for analysis.

Honestly, i've seen a lot of really screwed up horror movies. But one of the ones that caught me off guard most was American guinea pig: bouquet of guts and gore. It wasn't necessarily the worst one i've seen, but it was the first film like that i had seen. I had seen someone talking about it on a forum and went to some sketchy website to watch it lol. The gore isn't too realistic, the bloods way too bright and you can tell when they switch the girls out for dummies, I think the plot was what made it disturbing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who just likes horror because it was less horror and more tied into some weird satanic kinks. There wasnt too much of a plot either, mainly just freaky shit.

Poughkeepsie, I spit on your grave the 2010s version and Human Centipede. I wouldn't say they are scary, but they are definitely messed up. I just hate Horror movies that are only about women getting violated it's too much and it's not it. A scary horror movie that is messed up is Hostel because when you think of it I feel like Eli Roth knew from experience or what he's heard to know this, idk i feel like it would be so random if it was a made up idea

Probably Martyrs. Definitely not for everybody - but if you think you have the stomach for it, I highly recommend it. It has gore and violence, but it is also masterfully directed. Calling it t**ture p*rn would do it a total disservice. This is a really good movie.

I can handle a lot of things I find a lot of things very cool and fascinating but any movie that turning a human into some kind of animal (the human centipede, tusk, the fly, sssssss(i think it has that many s's), etc) makes my stomach curls and i cant eat or sleep good for weeks. I highly dont recommend watching any of them but if you are a horror freak like myself and want to watch it just once for the experience bring a puke bucket. If you do watch it let me know what you think!
