Yes! Community college is great! I started doing community college my junior year of high school and yeah, it's great. I'm only a senior now so I don't have any experience transferring out to finish my Bachelor's, but yeah. Community college is always a great option and is often overlooked. If you have any questions, feel free to friend and PM me.

Im about to graduate as well. Bit excited to go to college though and not too nervous and scared. im currently planning to go to a community college for the first 2 years in a rural town since its much cheaper then the CC in my hometown, then transfer to a state college nearby to finish my major.

i've been out of school for just 3 years now and i'm going into my second year of university
it's nothing to be afraid of. for once in your life, you will be able to choose your own path. you can step back or make turns /m wherever and whenever you need to (though don't forget that a lot of what's going to happen will be unexpected and you'll have to adapt to it). plus, in this world where everyone tells you that you're going to have to work way too hard for way too little, i understand how it can be scary. it's not that they're wrong, it's that we're mostly powerless against it, for now. but would you rather let fear of the unknown stop you early on, or be the best you can be with what you have?
at least, that's what i've realised over the past few years. i'm not pretending to be some wise old druid or whatever- you asked and i answered! also- me who has way too much celeste merch- i find this quote rlly relevant to me:

and finally, you don't need to ever realise any of this to live a fulfilling life. i hope it helps!- comments and criticism r welcome

when i was a senior in hs i was somewhat optimistic but due to my own procastination most of sneior yr + given little to no money by FAFSA, i fell behind just a bit knowing i couldve down more/better. i still was able 2 walk the stage but i didnt get an honor cord for honor roll bcuz i slacked off last few weeks of school. shit on community college sooo much even tho its actually hella helpful n affordable in the end. i had the same plan as u and started college last year around this time. unfortunately, i ended up dropping out due to campus being downtown and i lived wayyy on the opposite side of town n couldnt always afford gas or ubers there n back home. + i wasnt prepare at all for college to be 100% honest. frm morning classes/ lectures & late night, to having almost no one to talk to, a poorly paying job, and me constantly feeling super dumb & incapable compared to my peers i couldnt handle the pressure.. but this yr, im trying all over again & attending online college to get my assiociates and i can only pray for the best to come.
anywho i typed this 2 let you know that everything will work out. i was stressed and felt severely behind compared to my former classmates but thats where i had to stop focusing on others & worry abt myself. just make sure your info is in line for ur financial aid, APPLY FOR ANY AND ALL SCHOLARSHIIPS, literally talk ur counselor's ear off abt any concerns/confusions abt anything, and complete ur work w the best effort!
do not experience the same disappointment i did. everything will come together in the end!
p.s. idk if youre religious at all or christian but most importantly, pray. at the very least just show urself n those around much gratitude for all the help along the way.
love from class of '23 ;3
