Doctor Who: Eve Of The Daleks -- Thoughts?

So with the first of this year's Doctor Who specials out of the way, what'd everyone think of this first one, Eve Of The Daleks? 

I thought it was good. Sarah and Nick had decent character arcs, the time loop gimmick was fun, generally I thought this was paced pretty well and everyone actually did something to contribute to the plot.

Only thing is, I kinda feel like Yaz's crush on the Doctor kinda came out of nowhere? And assuming she doesn't die at the end of the 2nd or 3rd special, I'm totally expecting this to be another TOTD/Deep Breath scenario where half of 14's first episode will be Yaz complaining about the Doctor regenerating into whomever RTD chooses.
