dude for me it has to be the immodesty. and im not talking about like having your boobs or butts out but just like being able to show a little skin and it be the nrom. The hemline index is absolutely killing what it means to be sexy and 20

Omg im obsessed w my lowrise jeans ive managed to thrift some 90’s-00’s brands that dont exist anymore and the denim is so comfy, ive ditched modern jeans since the synthetics make my allergies flare up. my guess jeans are super cute and i always get so many compliments on themmm. huge fan of whale tails too. its what my friends know me for.
im also a huge fan of giant purses that make noise when u walk. the uglier the better.

Dresses over jeans is one of my favorite things from the 2000s, it brings me back to when I was a kid.

I want the whale tail to make a real come back, not just the side strings on the hips like it was in 2022-23.

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion but I really love crimped hair. I mean in an y2k way, maybe inspired by Xtina. This hair trend deserves a massive comeback!!

I luv so many things in the y2k style, like low-raise jeans are soooo pretty I love using them with some layered top or shirt. And the hoodies with fur were something esle (so beautiful) and the hairstyles were so WOW, and then the skirts and pants with the details on the pockets and so many other things that I'm obsessed with. Omg I wish I was teen in the 2000s

I'm IN LOVE with Juicy couture, I have so much Juicy and it makes me so happy. My mom says that she's personally victimized by leopard print bc when she was in high school all the popular ppl would wear it all the time lol !!

I'm really into ed hardy rn!!! not just ed hardy specifically, but embroidered hats and pants in general. It's really hard to find affordable embroidered clothes that are/look masculine, but my luck is getting better!! (I have a pair of ed hardy jeans, shorts, and two hats!!) ross is my savior

apple bottom jeans! nobody ever wears them anymore and they'd look so good with fur coats and accessories we wear today. I saw someone mention a juicyxapplebottom and haven't stopped thinking about it since.

Silly graphic tees, low-rise jeans (ofc), and a casual emo-cut. I'm talking natural hair color but cut with a major fringe.
Super cute and a great way to show your personality without a ton of effort in makeup and ultra fashion layering + I've always wanted to wear stuff like that so college I wanna take advantage of a new start and start honoring my childhood self. :')

I think my favorite 00s trend was the cyber look. You didn't really see it much past the early 00s and it was admittedly more of a 90s thing, but it was the vision of the future!! I'd love it if I saw more shiny silver clothes and weirdass chunky shoes, even if its just on people in tech advertisements lol.
Bonus for everyone in the EGL community-- those fricking velveteen dresses with lace dyed to match. I've been wearing oldschool lolita for ages but haven't gotten my hands on one of those yet. One day, one day.
