at age 11-ish my parents were told by a psychiatrist that i was most likely autistic but they couldn't diagnose it without an official screening, and my parents denied the screening, so i've just been floating in the nebulous self-dx space ever since, though i didn't really accept it until i was like 16 or 17

I've know since I was very young that I was. I've not gone in for a formal diagnosis yet but will eventually. Just have no clue how to go about bringing it up. It's also been heavily implied by therapists in the past as I do have many other illnesses and disabilities typically found in tandem with ASD and multiple generations of family members show similar symptoms as well as my nephew being formally diagnosed.

My mum took me to the hospital when I was 4 and I was diagnosed with Autism. She said she knew something was up because I walked away trusting a stranger completely and that I couldn't form sentences till I was 10.

I got tested and diagnosed at 13.
Even though it was still in late-childhood and most "late diagnosed" autistics don't get diagnosed into adulthood, I still find that I experienced many of the same things that those diagnosed in adulthood experience.
I definitely went through all of my life up until that point feeling like an alien, horribly confused all of the time, and desperately wanting to know what had to be "wrong with me." Because that's what I felt, that something was wrong with me. I felt so out of touch and different from everyone else, and it was incredibly alienating. I found myself struggling with a lot of confusion and other abilities being extra challenging, and it was all extremely distressing, not knowing why, and feeling so alone.
It wasn't until I met a friend in middle school who told me she was autistic. Everything about the way we thought, felt, acted, experienced internally, all in the most oddly specific of ways, were so similar to each other. I felt like I wasn't an alien anymore. There were actually people just like me in this world.
So yes, I did experience a lot of the not knowing why I do certain things and finding out later that it was an autistic thing, and the clarity and relief one gets after discovering they're autistic, knowing that there is a whole category of people just like you.
It wasn't super late, but it was late enough for all of that.

At 11 my doctor's where like 'yeah this kids autstic' and my parents where like
Noooo they couldn't have been they (describes literally just a non stereotypical autism thing ex. Instead of being very non social id run up to EVREYONE and ask them to be my best friend)
Doctors still say I'm autstic to this day but I've never been able to get diagnosed :/
I say to this day as if I'm not still a minor

Figured it out when I was 13. Parents seemed ableist, so I kept it hidden. Finally admitted it to my dad at 15.
"We know."
I COULD'VE BEEN NOT MASKING THIS WHOLE TIMEE?????
anyways, no way of getting a formal diagnosis because finances aren't great for my family rn and healthcare SUCKS

self diagnosed at 15-16 I can’t remember, then now at 17-18 I tried getting a formal diagnosis but the doctor didn’t even give us a chance to take the autism test before she said I didn’t have autism, and so she instead diagnosed me with a whole bunch of other stuff that autistic people are commonly misdiagnosed with, and not only that I’m AFAB, openly trans & queer, and seeking an autism diagnosis and the medical world is pretty ableist and misogynistic towards afab autistics, queerphobic to trans/queer autistics, and overall ableist towards autistics
