I think around 2010/2011 is when I first played it. On the minecraft website you could play a demo of it inside your browser, I would spend hours just building random shit. I was able to convince my parents to buy it for me early 2012

First started playing when I got my first own console which was the PS3. Made a lot of friends there and I still wonder how they’re doing now. I still feel a lot of nostalgia

I've been playing it nearly all my life, I couldn't tell you where I originally heard about it. In fact, when I first discovered it was when I was on Youtube and was thinking about something fun to look up and I kid you not I just remembered the name and found the original trailer, I don't remember at all where I originally heard of it although the obvious answer was school. Been playing it ever since so like that's maybe 15 years or so maybe? those numbers might not add up but I haven't been counting so a guesstimate is the best I got

EDIT: seeing a lot of 2012s around and that would likely be the time I was playing, but I didn't look up the 360 version until long after it was well known and that would be the only anchor point I would have to really figure out when I started playing

Then I started playing in my own Xbox one the Xbox one edition of minecraft.

I love multi-player sadly I don't have friends.

Found Minecraft back in like 2012 I believe, I was 7 and I stumbled upon the internet. My first introduction to YouTube and stuff was Stampylonghead, and I would watch his Minecraft videos all the time. Eventually after awhile my Dad got it for me on Xbox360, not sure if I asked him or if he seen I had a interest in it. Now I've been playing ever sense. Countless hours on that game and many great memories. Sadly I believe I lost my old worlds from my original Minecraft days. The memories are still with me though

i remember finding minecraft from old playthroughts of maps in like, 2014ish. the original pocket edition demo was my first version in like, 2015ish, then i got the ps4 version years later. now I play the switch version and share a realm with my childhood friend. I used to only want to play single player but now I think multiplayer is my fave. just knowing my friend can log on to see whatever chaos i got into is so fun!

here's a terraforming project im working. its taken so long to get as much as i got terraformed and it's really calming to just tear down that mountain.

I remember I joined because some dude in 4chan was like ¨bullying ppl on MC is the best shit ever" (it was in like 2010) so in my kiddo ass bitch it sounded so funny so I asked for the game to my brothers and they bought it for me. The coolest thing that I did on the game was probably the griefing of 2k2k on 2b2t. That shit was hilarious in every way and was so fun. I had pics of it, but my old pc died and i lost so many stuff like chatlogs etc. Also, always multiplayer, singleplayer gets boring so fast.

i think it was around september or october of 2010. i discovered it on an internet forum that i was active on around that same time. this guy was like "dude, u should check out this awesome building game called minecraft" so i went to the website he provided, bought an account with my moms debit card for about $15, and chose a name for it. sadly, i dont remember the password or the username to the account, but i did make a video that i shot with my digital camera pointing directly at my monitor cuz fraps wasnt working. i had deleted the video a while ago, and i dont have any backups of the file on my old computer cuz the hard drive died shortly after i got my gaming pc.

I think it was sometime around 2013 when I first played? It was a little bit after I graduated high school I remember that much.
My favorite experience is always going to be sharing a multiplayer server with friends. So many wild VCs and shenanigans.
My proudest build was probably recreating a convention's hotel for a virtual con we held a few years ago during the peak of COVID. Me and a friend built the entire hotel with functioning elvators and everything in 7 days. It was wild. (thank you WorldEdit/ADHD)

I don't exactly remember what version I started on, but I remember it was like 2009/2010, and it was before the creative menu was sorted and they started you with a bunch of blocks. I specifically remember it being really hype when they organized the menu and added tabs and stuff. man, those were the days. i'm pretty sure that was before commands, too, so you had to use mods and plugins to fly or change gamemode.

i discovered minecraft back in 2012. I remember being so hyped for horses to be added. i think my favorite experience is back in 2020, when a friend and i started a little hobbiton on some random minecraft earth server instead of doing our schoolwork because our school was all online for covid.

i usually play multiplayer survival, but i really don't play much anymore although i would like to get back into it. on a server that isnt on the last couple updates, since i didnt like the cave update at all.

Circa 2013....
I discovered it by a friend who had a pirate launcher of the game, most recent uptade at the time was the horse uptade and i quickly fell in love with mineshafts and caves of the game. All the "lonely" aura the game transmitted just made it a more unique first experience.

I'd heard of minecraft in my early childhood, back when it was pretty bare bones and the most interesting thing to do was to play flat world creative mode.  then a friend gave me and another friend permission to use her minecraft account, and we'd just goof around for hours. one of my happiest memories, i still talk to the friend who i'd game with. <3

MY greatest experience was probly when I first started to play java on my laptop I just loved playing hypixel.

Well... I discovered minecraft probably at the ending of 2012, when i was really REALLY young. At the time didn't had youtubers on my country that produced gameplays on Minecraft, at least i didn't knew at that time (i was 5/6 y.o).

I currently haven't been playing it as much as i used to play and consume videos back in the "long" period spanning 2014-2018, but this game never wears out for me. I love this game with all my heart. In fact, i consider myself a singleplayer player (i apologize for the pleonasm XD) and sadly i don't have images  to show :/... But who cares? The thing that really matters is our memories!

I remember I got the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft on Christmas when I was little. I watched a LOT of Minecraft videos and stuff back when it was extremely popular but I never had the money to get it since I was only little. I would say my greatest moment was finally getting to play multiplayer for the first time. Back then (and still even now) you needed GOLD in order to play games online and I wanna say I got three months of GOLD and I made sure to make the most out of it. I even remember this one time when me and this group of friends just messed around in a super flat world building and destroying random things it was nice.

Honestly, I prefer playing with friends in multiplayer. Sure singleplayer can be fun buuut it can get boring after a while.

Honestly, there's not too much I remember building but I do remember building little replicas of FNAF buildings when I was a bit younger. That and a few city maps, as of now though I'm just trying to get better at building lol.

How and when did you discovered minecraft?

Definitely through Minecraft YouTubers, I saw their videos in the early 2010s and wanted to replicate it. I then played the game primarily with my cousion.

What is your greatest experience on this game?

Probably playing with friends on Xbox live in the late nights until the early mornings of summer, we would role play and build entrile cities in creative.

Single or multiplayer ?

MULTIPLAYER

I grew up on Minecraft! Since the days where you can't change your skin and there was only a few blocks ! I prefer multiplayer, I can't keep focus on single-player worlds for reasons I'm not sure of.

I'm not a builder but I did build an actual treehouse for the first time a couple of days ago.

Golly this brings back so many memories. I first Played Minecraft when I was like- 8-9ish, back in like 2011-2012. I was at my cousins house and they had it on their Xbox. They build a jail cell and all their friends all like had different sets of armor. I had gotten stuck in the jail because I was afraid of creepers and was shot at by skeletons. After that night, I asked my dad if I could get it for Christmas and He let me. On my 10th Birthday he even got it on our old PC before it dusted. I was so happy playing it. I wasn't a good building builder, But i loved Building Roller Coasters, All of which had different styles and would be elaborate. If I could ever find those old Worlds, I would. My first Ever world I made on my own, I played with my dad, this was back when we only had a health bar. We were stuck in the middle of the ocean and had to make die with a wooden hut. Still being new to the game, We ended up forgetting to light it up and creepers spawned, blowing us up. Almost 12 Years Later, I still play that game regularly.

Minecraft holds a staple in my heart as it honestly is one of those games where no matter how much you play it, you'll never get beard, because you can play it so many ways. I used to love creating fancy worlds and making up stories on my own, such as fixing the world on an apocalyptical heck-scape with only a water source and the remains of the blown up world that turned into islands of tribes fighting for survival, A Beautiful Resort Run on being a staple for cat and dogs (Spawning animals was always my favorite thing to do), A fall out style world where you could rebuild a scene over and over again. (These were the stories I created over the years). The game was my crutch when I felt overwhelmed, and calmed me down, because in a Minecraft world, I could make things perfect, like how I would want them to be.

There isn't a specific memory of me discovering Minecraft. I've been playing video games all my life and Minecraft just suddenly appeared. I didn't give it any thought and I just started playing. Although my earliest fun memory of Minecraft is watching a Youtuber, named Rendog, doing a playthrough.

My greatest experience is discovering you can mod Minecraft. There are so many mods I can live out my cottage core life.

I prefer a multiplayer experience. Creating a server and playing with my friends is just a much more enjoyable time. We enjoy and appreciate eachother's styles of building and go out on an adventure.
