Late 2019. I am a bit late. My older brother played it since Alpha. I watched a couple of videos of people building cool things so hey I was hooked.

For me I found it back around 2010 through Youtube. I was just starting middle school at the time, and my family had moved to Maine so I was spending a lot of time indoors due to all the snow that you get up there.
The game itself fascinated me, I was brand new to gaming in general so the only other games I played at the time were Roblox, and Spore.

Minecraft remains one of the most versatile games ever. I mean, look at what some people create! You can do just about anything all the way from playing by yourself to make minigames (technumus) that can be played by millions by using command block and redstone mechanics. It's like a second world. And because the chances of the same thing happening twice is almost nil(world generations I mean) you never get bored. It can also be used as a learning environment with certain mods and can be used to teach stuff like python. I still don't understand how Notch came up with the idea. It's amazing!

I first began playing it on my friend's mom's phone on the way to a joint tennis lesson maybe 10 years ago. It was the first game I have ever played and it was the first one I downloaded when I got an iPod Touch 3. I even jailbroke it to record YouTube videos! Greatest experience has just been building survival worlds with friends over the last decade. It is great to look back and reminisce, though I grateful to still have friends today who occasionally hop on Minecraft.

I've been playing Minecraft since early 2010. It came out when I was a child and it has always been so impressive and intriguing to me. I mostly play java these days but i played pocket edition all the time when i was younger. I play single player for the most part but there are a few servers that I frequent. One of the greatest games ever made and it only keeps getting better with every update.

i discovered minecraft around 2012 or maybe 2013? i’m not entirely positive on that. but my husband first introduced me to it. the best experience i had is just a very funny story. my husband, niece, and myself were playing together (my niece was at home playing online with us) my hubby had created the world as a creative and we all found a good spot to build our homes close by to every one. my niece wad big on pranks and decided it would be fun to fill my hubby’s house with hundreds of llamas. so to get back he filled hers with a ton of creepers. now we were in creative mode, so she is in her house trying to clear them out when i look at my husband and say “… oh my gosh, put it in survival mode!” and he decides that’s an awesome idea. he switches it and we hear our niece realizing what he’s done when they start to make their “hiss” sound when she starts yelling “NO NO NO, MY HOUSE!” and then *boom* and i don’t think she’s forgiven us to this day because it obliterated her whole house

Discovered about Minecraft in Internet back in 2019-2020. Found that it was really great for Builds along with survival as well.
Started Playing MC back in 2020
Mostly Singleplayer Creative, and occasionally survival as well.
Sometimes just hop into multiplayer with friends.
Well, there is nothing to be proud of tbh, but i just built some stuff for fun (which aren't that great compared to many in internet).
I could share some creative builds i guess (Like some screenshots of it) (I know, they aren't that great. I just built these for fun, not as mainstream project). Also, yes, i adjusted the world rules to disable fire and few stuff, until the city is complete.
Also, yes, they are Incomplete, cuz they all re still under construction. I'm planning to have this as a Megacity (Just like many other builds out there)

I found out about Minecraft when I was in 4th grade because I heard my classmates talking about it and asked my mom to download the lite version on her iPad.
I think my greatest experience with the game is building stuff in the game with my best friend.
I usually play Minecraft on Singleplayer.

I was playing WoW during the Cataclysm expansion and someone mentioned it in trade chat. I was like wtf is that? Tried it, hated it. Bought it for my little step brother when it released on Xbox 360, been playing it ever since.

I started playing in 2011 and ran public servers for a long time, but now I just run a personal whitelist one for fun. I don't have anyone to hang out with anymore, so I run it and I made it a creative 1.18 as modded as you can get with only plugins server. I use 2 resource packs and a bunch of plugins. Honestly a lot easier to run a whitelist server, no need to make and setup ranks and deal with all that. At one point I didnt even play much since I worked on it, now I built a really cool highway system, and towns and stuff on the whitelisted. I have cars and planes, ect. So I still love this game and prob will forever since it can be self hosted and therefore somewhat eternal.

First played a pirated version of the game in 6th grade; 2012. It was my first PC game, the only other experience I’d had with video games at the time was the DS. I was so bad at it lmao, I feel in a hole and couldn’t figure out how to leave.

I discovered it as a wee lad from the glory of 2012 YouTube. My parents would never buy Minecraft, not Java nor the Pocket Edition, so I would find ripoffs on the Google Play Store. Then I discovered T-Launcher, and found out I wasted all of those years.

My brother got Java when it came out and then I started playing on it. Greatest SMP moment was when me and my friend tunneled underneath a "king and queen"'s house and blew it up. Then T-Bagged on their loot. They were cheaters

ah i love minecraft. i dont remember the age i was when i first started playing but i was pretty young and my older brother showed me what it was. i played all the time and my favorite part was building, still is. i stopped playing for over a year i think on pc and played a little on xbox which really screwed me up when i joined back up on pc. i even had to change some controls because i was so used to different controls from other pc games that i played while not playing minecraft. i really enjoy playin multiplayer but with realms and lan worlds its really hard to do so.

The first time I played this game was back in like 2011-2012. I remember playing and just having such a good time. I have trouble playing games that have a lot of stories and objectives. Even though I love them I just have a hard time focusing and not loosing intrest. Minecraft is one of the few games I can play for hours at a time because of it's open eneded creativity.

I started around 2013-2014 on Xbox 360, I was 7 or 8. I begged my dad to get me the game and he finally did, I remember it being October on a Wednesday the day he got me it, I came home and he surprised me with it. I played for hours and made myself this horrid cobblestone skyscraper.
