Hard to choose! For me it’s neck and neck. Silver Bullet, The Lost Boys, and Scream.

I don't really have a favorite. I used to when I was younger, but movies I enjoy is a long list. To list at list 5 would have to be: Nightmare On Elm Street, Splinter, Evil Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Tucker and Dale vs Evil (yes I know its a horror comedy)

currently, Train to Busan. Absolutely brilliant zombie horror flick. The sequel Peninsula and the prequel Seoul Station are pretty great too.

obviously carrie. i've read the book, and i've been watching the movie since i was like, 6. i wouldn't go as far to say this movie is like, not horror, because it clearly is, but the film made me more sad than anything else. i like that. with films like may or the exorcism the main characters are creepy asf or unsettling. and like, even if you sympathize with them their sill really creepy. this movie was literally watching a confused innocent girl get beaten down by everyone around her and everyone deserved what they got. the movie is definitely meant to evoke sympathy from the watcher. she is constantly victimized though no fault of her own and she's not shown to be malicious until she's been pushed too far and even at that point you still can't see her as a monster. case closed, point proven.
