Shadow Bliss mentioned the Ecosia search engine earlier in this thread and I have to add that I really like the idea behind it and the team that made it is all about tree preservation, and they also have their own browser, the Ecosia browser, that I've started using where their search engine is default. It's a chromium browser, which means you can use all the extensions available in the Chrome store but I still think it's cool that they made a browser available along with the search engine. I figured I'd support them by not only using their search engine but their browser too because this is an organization I can get behind with the work they do, instead of supporting big tech.

thank you for sharing! there's so much fun in exploring random websites! unfortunately in the modern age of the internet, surfing the web doesn't really exist anymore. a google search only leads to sponsored results and corporately-owned websites most of the time.
