I saw a ghost when i was but a youngling. It appeared as a ball of light, once on a clear night, and one more time at the appex of my mothers stairs.

Well, I don't, but a part of me truly hopes it is real. If I were to die, I'd like to think I'd go somewhere afterwards, same with love ones who have passed on too.
Thinking about death has always upset me, but I really do hope there is an afterlife, even if I don't really believe there is.
When it comes to ghosts, I also like to think they're real. I wouldn't say I "believe" they are real, but when I was little there would always be little things that slightly convinced me or others around me. An example: When I was younger, I had my dead uncles room after he passed, and sometimes there would always be small things, like lights flickering, things moving/falling, things turning on suddenly - Little things like that that would always convince me when I was younger. It's a nice thought to imagine that your loved ones are watching over you as ghosts, but I wouldn't say I'm a "believer". I mean, if someone ever came up to me trying to say something about "ghosts" I'd probably brush and laugh it off - as most would. But I'd like to hope they do exists.

I personally thought that since the universe is so big, spirits being bound to Earth would be a little bit silly. If I was a spirit I wouldn't want to be stuck on Earth while there is so much to explore out there. Still, maybe some souls have "unfinished business" on here as some say :)

100% yes. I have experienced enough paranormal activity in my lifetime to be convinced. I've not only done ghost hunting but grew up with stories of demons. On top of that I had many paranormal encounters as a kid.

im still very confused on how life works and i am yet to fully grasp the concept of death, i really don 't know where we go when we die no one knows, but ghosts confuse me even more because i believe they are real mostly because ive experienced them sm first hand, i believe some bodiless form of power the dead holds that can manipulate the world around the living exists and ill never know how, only death can explain to us all how

Hm.. i am actually not really sure. Because there's actually no scientific evidence suggesting that ghosts or spirits exist. But then again there are a lot of things that can't be explained by science, and that's where i start doubting the non-existence of ghosts.

Yes. Surviving Death by Leslie Kean was what ultimately convinced me.
I would highly suggest reading it if you get the chance!

Yes,
My mom said my dad could see spirits. Also, I believe in the afterlife because I feel like there's something more beyond this immediate one, there's like an end goal (heaven/hell).

Yes! I believe there's some sort of afterlife but I'm not quite sure what yet. I think reincarnation, for example, might be real; I believe in ghosts 100 percent though as I've encountered them many times before.

hehe yes. i believe in the spirit being a life force while the ghost as a death force. We interact through spirit x ghost communication.
my family has always had experiences with seeing, speaking, and praying to ghosts and deceased family. It's such a strong connection, and it's in our blood.
Even if I wanted to stop believing, the experiences and the bloodline will always be ghost speakers.

A side of me has a believe of spirites but without logical reason than just the hope that there is something after death
Even if it may be pitch black that would be absurd if we would all be conscious to see pitch black once ur dead
There has to be something you will witness once ur dead
So being a ghost seems very interesting to float around as a being who has no purpose no reason to be here anymore yet roams around as they please and do what they want to a degree
So yea ig you can say I believe in ghosts

Honestly, I do. I believe Ghosts are just different timelines piling on top of each other or that peoples souls couldn't reincarnate yet so they stay on this Earth till they can. I'm in between those theories.
As a kid I used to see spirits all the time(my mother claims this at least). My mom was a paranormal investigator and brought me along to her trips. Weird that shed bring a 4 year old to abandoned places to find ghosts, even she doesn't know why she did it but she said I had a lot of fun. She captured some orbs that could've been dust but she swears I was the one pointing them out. Yeah, I believe they exist. My question is, how is it they vanish and appear? What energy do they need to do that? Why can you see some apparitions but not all?

I have mixed feelings about them. They're plentiful of real life evidence that is almost impossible to deny, unless you're just that type of person. However, as a Christian my beliefs in the supernatural are somewhat limited compared to others.

This topic is very debatable, I don’t really believe in ghosts. I don’t understand how it would be logical for ghosts to exist. However, I do believe in the afterlife. It’s a fascinating concept. I also believe in reincarnation ;3;

yes, I believe in spirits, ghost and some other creatures of that kind.
I had personally lived lots of paranormal activity since I have memory lol, specially in my childhood home, there is this thing that roams the house, something like full grown man that walks like a monkey or whatever, we have not figured out where it came from yet. The house is old but we built it from zero, so we are the only family that ever lived there, also poltergeist activity is normal in the house, I still live there and honestly... you get used to it lol

not exactly. i don't believe in them, but i wouldn't be surprised if i saw one. and I'd be open to going ghost hunting, just for fun.
that being said, i know a few people who swear up and down and side to side that they've seen a ghost, so who knows. maybe i'm just not interesting enough for ghosts to want to talk to me! there's one oddity shop i've been to a few times where every time i'm there at least two people at the counter are talking about their paranormal experiences, but that's probably normal for a oddity shop.
also, if ghosts are real, it's interesting to think, like what they ARE: are they places where time is kind of "thin"? can they physically manifest, actually? etc, etc... hm. if ghosts are stationary, what happens when someone dies in a moving vehicle? surely they stay with the car/boat... but then what happens when the vehicle gets destroyed? does the ghost get destroyed or does the vehicle become a ghost? and if it becomes a ghost what the HELL does that say about if inanimate objects have souls??????

I may have answered this before. But yes, there are good and neutral and bad spirits.
When I was six, I saw somebody wrapped up in a sheet in my room leaning against the corner. As I watched, it started to thrash side to side, and I remember hiding under my blanket. When I looked later, it was gone. No idea what that meant.
After that I saw my Shoosh (pat. grampa) after he died, come half out of my closet as a slightly translucent him-ghost bordered with gold light, he smiled, waved, and faded out of sight. My other family members across the country had similar experiences.
Most recentlyish, I felt a man die. I don't know how, but I knew someone was dead. I sent mass message after mass message checking on my friends, they were all fine. And then maybe three months later, or weeks, idk time, a friend I had previously checked on told me it was their friend from a different state. How it was me that was tasked with knowing they were dead before anyone else, I don't know. But this third ghost shows up sometimes, even now and it's been probably a decade. I know when he's around when there's random radiant happiness that isn't "mine" in a sense.
Those are the ones I know, but I've been around enough spirit/entity/ghost, that if they are malicious I just donk em with my shield, and that makes them understand exactly what's up.

Since I was little, I have been sensitive to spiritism and, even though my family wanted me to be Catholic, I ended up following the teachings of Allan Kardec (the father of spiritualism). Ghosts are not the ones we see in videos on YouTube "answering" spiritboxes, radios or things like that. A lot of this was created by the media and also by movies. I have had so many experiences with the spiritual world that they cannot fit here.

Yes. I think that if you have unfinished business you stay on earth as a spirit or you are just nor ready to go to heaven or hell. If you are ready to go to heaven or hell then you talk to an angel before they choise where you are going.

I sure do! I also love everything related to ghost and spirits. Me and my mom are also very witchy in different ways.
But also, i should admit i believe in almost everything. Sirens, ghosts, Wendigos, Angels, and I could go on an on. I just think everything is so big and connected and magical that I simply think it is wrong not to believe.

I do believe in the supernatural. I have believed since i was a kid, and that is because i have had an experience i will never forget. I was in the first grade, and we were the only class left in the building. Nobody was there except me and my class and the teacher.
I needed to go to the bathroom (only 5 mins were left of the class) and i went. (Remember i was the only kid that went to the bathroom or left the class)
When i arrived in the bathroom, i looked to see if anyone was there, and like i expected, nobody was there. I did my thing, and as i was preparing to leave and go back to class i looked to my right...
There was my shadow, which was normal...but as i looked more, another shadow appeared. It wasnt the shadow of a kid, and it was taller than me. (nobody left or entered the bathroom while I was there)
I got scared, but i couldnt move. As i stood there I constantly looked at it, and for a split second it moved. When I saw it move i realised it wasnt my imagination and something was there. But nothign could have made that shadow instead of a human.
Since this day, I couldnt explain myself what it was...except of a shadow figure.

Como ejemplo;

Absolutely. After my father passed away in 2017 i had weird things happening. they dont happen anymore and i will explain why in a second. When he passed, i noticed the room he slept in felt WAY colder than it was before, i would walk in and feel uneasy, like i was being watched, so i ended up just keeping the door closed. my cat and dog never had the intention of going into that room before, but after the fact they would both claw at the door, when i let them in they would curl up on his bed, it was weird. a couple years later, my mom swung my door open and asked if i was awake around 3 AM, i said no and she showed me some cam footage from the canary, it was some sort of translucent figure floating upwards, we tried to debunk it. Air flow from the ceiling fan, vents, there was very little to no airflow in the living room causing a tissue to float upwards, we searched around for one too, nothing. The figure also appeared in front of where my dad passed, which was his recliner. In the footage, there was a frame of a dark figure standing behind the recliner, we knew it was my dad. One night we were heartbroken that my dad couldnt move on, we both sat down by his chair, told him we would be okay and he wouldnt have to worry about us. a few moment later, the room felt lighter, less clouded. when i went into his room after we told him to move on, it was warm, and i felt no longer hesitant to walk into that room. It was my only personal encounter with a spirit, and it was my dad sticking around for awhile. Sometimes it feels like he visits to say hello, but who known. If you read this far i really appretiate you taking the time to read my little story, you a real one

I want to believe in an afterlife, it would give me so much hope, truth is the idea of death terrifies me, I like being alive and I wish it could be like that forever, the "you will end up getting bored" argument never convinced me as civilization evolves and there will always be something new, and where there is not then something new will get invented.

I think that there has to be something after death. After all, we are energy and energy can't just disappear. We no longer exist, but where does our energy go?
We don't have a clear answer on what happens after death because we really don't know, and will never know. It's all up to speculation, I guess that may have been a reason religion was created, to aid the fear of uncertainty. We create stories and theories to make death easier to accept. It would be nice if heaven were a real place.
This a very interesting question, and I find myself thinking about this often. But I'd say don't get to wrapped up in this thought, if you think too much it'll get scary. For now it's not your worry, you're not dead yet.

i think so. i don't have any theory or any bullshit but there will always be something or someone among us. its, philosophically and spiritually speaking, impossible to be COMPLETELY alone. scientifically speaking is another topic, but I think the world is too big to be alone in a room.

i think ghosts are inherently something made by us, from us.
there has to be SOMETHING around us, but believing that ghosts are real, draws the said 'ghosts to us'. energy lies throughout the entirety of our galaxy, but ghosts only attach and are drawn to those who believe they exist.
the concept of ghosts have to have come from somewhere, nothing is just 'made'. someone saw something, and believed it a ghost.

I definitely believe. Had some experiences to prove it. in dreams and figures, and that feeling in your gut, in some places. I dunno where we go on afterlife exacly, but I thinks theese ghosts we see here came with some kinda menssage. And I believe Ancestrals come often to look for us!!
