I just watched it earlier and that movie was l33t holy shit!!!

The fact they don't even show jax abstract like he was being broody but we seen "Worse" And BOOM dead

I saw the brain scan from a mile away to be honest you could say they just ignore any C&A plotline like what anything looked like but I enjoy how there is nothing they can do so no reason to expand

though I wish we got filled in about ribbit or kaufmo unless I missed something

I overall loved the show and have been a fellow fan for about 3 years, the ending really ticked me off though. Ive seen the leaks and watched the movie early and I think it's safe to say I'm disappointed. So much theories, so much excitement for absoloute dog shit. And the cherry on top is that like the entire cast and gooseworx just getting exposed 1 month after ep 9 and OHH MY GOD. I am so tired I really wanted the show to have a terrible gruesome ending, the potential. Then it just got wasted with a little happy and joyful whimsical end where everyone comes together..! PLEASE. I WANTED A HARSH ENDING BUT NO. I CANT HAVE ANYTHING!!!! Obviously its Gooseworx's show and she can do whatever she wants with it but I was expecting fire writing and an ending people cried over but, Noooo lets give it a default "friendship" ending. I am so incredibly disappointed.

^ My main issue was the focus on Jax. I thought Ribbit and Kaufmo did unspeakable things to him and I was ready to find out what happened, but this fucker straight up gaslit Ribbit during the snow scene. It pissed me off a lot. There was so much buildup, so much dread and existentialism until it completely fell flat. I was so sure shit was about to go down. And Jax was treated as the biggest victim, for what? He's not even essential to the circus in the way Caine and Kinger are, so what the fuck was with the spotlight shift to him? I didn't hate Jax before, I really didn't. But like I said... there was an opportunity for him to come to terms with his actions. And while not every character deserves a redemption arc, why was the weight of the finale sacrificed just to say he's an unfixable asshole? It's a series finale, not a season finale. What about the other characters we know next to nothing about? Like Zooble, Gangle, Ragatha, Pomni... It would have been nicer to see inside their minds too, a switch-up would have been more satisfying. And how come Caine comes back to magically make everything better like nothing happened, I thought he was gone, gone... It really felt more like a fanfic than an official episode. Because of the favoritism. And to boot, the transfem theory. If it's true, it feels even more like a Goosworx self-insert. And that was never the whole point of this series. It's supposed to be about the horror of living in a simulation. And it wouldn't have mattered to me whether they left the circus or not, as long as the execution was fine... which it was not. Jax's writing is objectively bad, sorry.
