is anyone here a fan of the twilight zone?? i am obsessed with this show and im amazed it took me so long to ever watch it lol its SO captivating, and the way the storylines blend morality with these supernatural (and some not so supernatural) scenarios just tickle me pink i love it i love it. it's so easy to see how so many films and shows that came after were inspired by particular episode plots now that i've seen them. 

i've only seen the first 23 episodes of the first season but so far my favorite episodes have been "and when the sky was opened", "elegy" and "the monsters are due on maple street". i'd love to hear anyone else's favorite episodes or just thoughts on the show :-))

I've been wanting to get into the show, are the first episode hard to get through? i know its an old show but i didn't want to start it and give up after the first episode or two if the next ones were good.

i dont think so at all, as a matter of fact the first episode is another one of my favorites! each episode is a completely different story with different characters, none of them connect to each other, so if you find one boring i dont see a harm in skipping to the next one. :-)
