Usually, in such cases, you need to worry about your own well-being. 

But if the walls, or someone in them, are actually talking, you need to make sure you have a shotgun handy. =)) And be polite to your interlocutor.

what I usually do is make a hole in the wall and put some sort of posion gas in it and the voices usually go away
