Okay i have to get this off my chest somehow so i'm just gonna rant here a bit, i'm on ao3 now and i've wrote two fanfics so far (2 short cute mikey 2012 x reader non smut just fluff) and overall ive been on ao3 for a long time, which if you have too you know that people can have weird fetishes and write some really graphic stuff, which i don't really care about, i don't like it so i don't read it, though what i care about is sexualizing minors, especially really young minors, like the 2012 version of turtles. Don't get me wrong, ive read a bit of smut with the 2018 turtles aged up, the problem is theres a lot of writers on ao3 who sexualize the early 2012 turtles without even trying to age them up and making them act a bit more maturely. Anytime i see that type of stuff i literally feel like throwing up.
One person even commented on my fanfic about how cute it is, and when i looked at their profile i saw that they have a lot of 2012 fanfics that were sexualizing the 15 year old turtles... even having them do like rape and stuff like that, not only its out of character completely but its also absolutely disgusting.
I joined the tmnt fandom about a few months ago and so far its really kind of chill except for these people, which is really a shame. (ive been a brony and an undertale fan in the 2017 for a long time so the bar is pretty low lols)
