I remember one night when I was about to fall asleep on my bed I suddenly woke myself up which put me in a state of sleep paralysis. As I laid on my bed, I could audibly hear someone right next to me (almost like they were talking right next to my left ear) say my name in this weird warbly pitch shifting voice. I couldn't move my head or my body so I tried to wiggle my body awake. As I finally was able to move, I flashed my phone light to where I presumed the noise came from to see nothing but the dark. This happened really late at night when everyone in the house was asleep. i was a bit startled that night but I just wanted to go to bed, but the way the voice sounded really freaks me out to this day like wtf

I've already seen the 'shadow' of my deceased grandmother, she wasn't with us at the time, and I was completely alone in the room, anyway, I think she was just looking out for me
