Personally i love horror but a lot hate it, and truthfully i wanna know why, some answers are obvious but the more complex ones i love!

1. Does horror scare you? - i'm not easily scared by horror at all so when it does scare me it makes me appreciate the work even more
2. Favorite medium of horror? - i watch and enjoy horror films more often but horror games definitely scare me more
3. Is it overrated or underappreciated? - there's horror that's overrated and horror that's underrated like in every genre but i feel like the genre itself is underappreciated in what it does and is capable of
4. is there an objective or subjective yes or no? - i feel like horror is very objective because of how much it's about the viewer's emotions/feelings/reactions it's mainly defined by its ability to invoke fear/dread/etc and everyone has different fears and limits so it's hard to say that a work of horror is definitively good or bad or that it's scary or not (hope i didn't misinterpret this question i feel like i might have whoops)
5. Do you like horror, and why? - i find it hard to say why i like horror because i've loved it for so long + there are so many different works i love and i enjoy different mediums, what i love about those things can vary quite a lot between them
