I went cryptid hunting out in the Appalachian Mountains this summer. Brought my digital recorder, camera, thermal cam, and night vision stuff. Didn't catch anything, but wanted to know if there were other cryptozoologists on this site :3

I live in the Appalachia mountains. Never seen one in my life. I def think its just human mind playing tricks. Idrk much about the cryptids but I really like stories of like creepy people in the woods. Like that one russian story about the lady who if you see her dancing she will run at you or smth. Have you caught anything? would love to see it.

I haven't caught anything but I did see a strange large cat that was the size of a medium dog. It had a lot of doglike features but a panther's tail and it was being chased by a bulldog. My best guess is that we saw a Black Coyote.
I'm not one to believe in Bigfoot or most cryptids, but they all have basis in fact, such as Nessie possible being a type of eel that only stops growing when it reaches the sea, except it never did.
I've only been out cryptid Hunting once ;-; but I intend to go to the Devil's Tramping Ground and eventually make my way back to Texas (I have some family down there) and go to the Goatman's bridge!
