I just watched it, thought it was pretty epic ^_^
You can tell alot of love and care was put into man, if not by all the years Pan-pizza has been crafting the shit, then by all the sweet little details and interesting tidbits we get about the characters and their world.
Its all excess, I love it, I love how much it wears its inspirations on its sleeve, especially through stylistic choices man, it feels like Pan poured his entire heart and soul into it with both his love of all kinds of media and love to create, its beautiful man!! Atleast to me ☝️
I will say, the plot beats could be seen as a bit typical, but its such a special version of it, and incredible world showing it all.
I really hope it gets picked up or like can be made a whole series, I know there's like the OG comic, which i havent read, but seems much less evolved, I feel like it wont serve it all justice like the animation of it does, ya know?
