Man there are some great bands not getting the recognition they deserve.

Here are some of mine
The White Noise
Normandie
Bellevue Days
Microwave (yes a real band and they are incredible)
Northern Faces
Band of Skulls
The Red Pears (an acquired taste. Very indie)
Radical Face/Electric President (two project by a man named Ben Cooper. Again acquired taste. His vocals are not for everyone. RF is the most popular but I really prefer EP)
KUNZITE (if you enjoy Ratata you will probably like this. They are more poppish but I enjoy them)
Fitness
Broken Bells
Brick + Mortar
OWEL

idk if undergrounds the right word to describe these artists, but theyre less known <3 these are some favs of mine.

fightstar - a post-hardcore band from england consisting of vocalist charlie simpson (formerly from busted), bassist dan haigh, drummer omar abidi, and guitarist/backup vocalist alex westaway. currently on hiatus but im hopeful theyll make new music soon, i love them so much <3

gunship - a synthwave group from england consisting of vocalist alex westaway, drummer alex gingell, and dan haigh on synths. theyre currently working on some new music and i'm sooo beyond excited for their third album.

pillar - a christian rock group from oklahoma consisting of vocalist rob beckley, lead guitarist noah henson, bassist michael whittig, and drummer lester estelle II. they havent put any new music out since 2015 but i really like their music, confessions is my fav album by them.

So this one is sort of hard to classify as unknown or uncommon, but Sematary. He makes what is easiest to describe as being 2013 era chief keef if chief keef was a horror movie obsessed whiteboy who drank too much bang and thought he was cool for having knives. Doesn't take himself too seriously, although has some legitimately cool moments imo. Lots of fun references and stuff, as well as rainbow bridge 3 being very crunchy.

I also recommend looking into Haunted Mound, which is the collective he is apart of and also spearheads, as while most members don't have a lot of music out, they do make stuff similar to sematary to a degree and give off similar vibes.

Im just starting a band with well produced music. Can everyone go to instagram and follow my solo Emo/Post Hardcore/Metalcore project @ourfallendisaster its just me on vocals and amazing producers/mixers. I choose to do this solo to prove that u dont really need a full band to rock out and rave. Tho a backing band would be nice haha. First single and album in the works. if u could id also love it if yall spread the word so first single gets alot of traction. Music has been my passion and dream since loving my first band Black Veil Brides. Im thankful i have saved up enough money to do this so pls follow/like/and PLS spread the word!( Also because im a dropout and this HAS to work lmao) Love uuuu

One of my favorite artists is Clem Turner. Honeywell by him is currently one of my top songs of 2022. His music is a bit more chill and it probably would be classified as alternative(ish).

The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band
Late 60's group very much inspired by the yardbirds.
Questionable vocalist, but VERY good musicians.
They're not super unkown but they are definitely not well known.

Also a current latin ska punk band,
the Happy Drunk Cartel.
SUPER underated. I believe they have the same record company as bombs blast.
