Still in Uni but one of the craziest things that happened was during my Sophmore year when our email domain or the @univeristyname.edu part of our emails got hacked into because students and staff clicked on bad psyshing links. Got so bad Google banned(?) the domain. By the end of the semester all of staff was communicating to students through Facebook XD Dunno if they ever fixed it since I transfered to my current Uni by then.

Anywho, onto advice...

You probably know but since I know a few Freshman need time to adjust I need you to know right out the gate that NOBODY GAF what you do (they're too busy to) and if they do they're still living in Highschool mentality and you can tell. You can be yourself a lot more, nobody really says anything from my experience. I went to a rural uni and had a rainbow checkered backpack with homemade pins and patches. The only colorful backpack on campus in a sea of neutral colors. No one ever told me anything about it :]

Another thing to spare you the worry is you don't have to raise your hand for anything. Especially if you need to go to the restroom. You just get up and head out the door quietly. Some profesors may ask you to tell them in advance if you're expecting a phone call so they aren't distracted if your phone rings and you walk out of class. Of course you don't need to tell them if they don't ask but it never hurts to tell them. Just something small you can do out of curtesy. Even more so if you know they're effidy about phones going off.

Last thing, when classes get rough, always remember: "C's make degrees!"

Wish you luck on your journey it's tiresome don't get me wrong but you'll find a lot of drive and joy if you know how to look at things.

As for crazy stories I don't think I have any... Mostly because I didn't really keep up with the social stuff (French uni is much less... social than US ones).

But for advice, the biggest one would be to attend classes and study the material as early as possible. You really don't want to be a week before finals and have a whole semester to understand while teachers have already moved on. Find yourself a study buddy, it helps too.

And as it was said, don't stress about social appearance. Most people don't care, you're here to get a degree, not walk a fashion show. Teachers are usually very nice, it's very different than highschool and i've found they're much more understanding.

Just started uni but heres something!

I was talking to this guy on insta i found on one of those roommate friend finder things nothing romantic just Gundam and PS vitas because we both liked them. Well eventually I invite him over to my dorm because he wanted to see it after i posted a picture and it was ... weird to say the least he brought over soda and stuff but he also brought this huge tub of store brand lactose free vanilla  ice cream i thought it was weird but free ice cream i guess i offer bowls and spoons but he said he didn't want them so here we are eating out of this big ass tub of ice cream with these big ass spoons he brought then it gets so awkward so i start playing a game while small talking about classes and books and such. After a while i turn to face him what do i see but a BIG ass scoop headed towards my mouth I was so shook i just took it bc i didn't know what to do. i felt like i was a baby being fed he did it twice but i thought i gave him a strong "don't do that" look but i guess not because he kept going!!! it was really weird after that i said we should go get dinner because honestly i wanted him to stop feeding me ice cream but while i was finishing my game that he asked for a massage??? we went to dinner it was awkward asf but uhhh yeah do not just invite randos to your room.
