anyone into tarot?

something common I see amongst practitioners is that they learn Tarot through readings on themselves. I haven't had any bad outcome for reading my own spreads, though im fully aware that traditionally I should not, and typically lean towards other sources of divination. 

I'm more into the meditative side of things, and I pull most often from old grimoire. I'm happy to talk more about that privately though. 

I love my tarot cards! I’m still using the deck my Mother got me when I was like, 11. I don’t often do readings for myself anymore, but I will do them for fictional characters or OCs! Its good practice and gives me direction in my character development.

My aunt is a witch and she gave me a tarot deck, which I use from time to time. I'm admittedly not very well versed in it, but I second practicing on OCs or fictional characters if focusing on yourself feels too... idk, personal?
