I took a while to understand the film, mainly because of how Kubrick built the connection during the scenes, but oh my Ozzy I'm in love with it
The version I watched had Pink Floyd songs and the scenes in the open space felt etheral

i understand the feeling... the first time i watched it was for SOME REASON across a few school lunches... it did not resonate! the second i had a proper watch through with friends of mine, and it totally clicked. 2001 is awesome and beautiful, and the pink floyd version sounds celestial. i'll check it out sometime :-)
