way too many. But I'll share my best one.
I was in college and crashing at my aunt's place. There was a clash between myself and some of my professors, and that made college especially difficult. I was frustrated and probably seeing myself as a sack of worthless shii.
I got home one day, took a nap, woke up kind of in the middle of the night, the lights were off. Tried to do homework, couldn't make myself, and listened to music instead. I was awake, not on drugs, either legal or not, didn't drink, and don't have any hallucination disorders. I could mostly clearly see the room by my laptop's screen light.
I'm listening to Savatage's "When the Crowds Are Gone" cuz that was about my mood (it has become my trouble song even now) and I saw movement. I partially closed my laptop and was ready to attack. After my eyes adjusted better I see.... a blacked out silhouette of a dude with a guitar and long hair. At this point there was no way the guy could have moved around the basement silently in the dark with a guitar that obviously had a strap. And he was basically so dark he was 2D, and with me being able to see the wall behind him if he had reflectable features I would have seen them.
Still silently, he played along with that song I had on loop, and the room went from mundane house energy to recognizable and intense show (concert) energy. I began to feel better, and out of curiosity (and a hunch) I looked up what Criss Oliva looked like. AND EVERYTHING PERFECTLY MATCHED. I had previously not known what he looked like. I didn't care at that lifestage, I just wanted my bands to sound good. it blew my damn mind and further solidified my understanding of The Rule of The Pit. I'm guessing dude decided that since I was playing his song he was gonna be the one to pick me back up... which is CRAZY. But it happened. I would bet everything that it was a true experience.
