Nosferatu: Ummmmm I loved this movie. Somehow it was beautiful and elegant while also being disturbingly gory and even nauseating at times. This movie was unique in a way that is very hard for me to describe. The effects were very practical, and not too flashy, yet still so horrific. I love how it felt exactly like a book or folktale in movie form. It is like what you would imagine in your head if you read the story. I also think the casting was SO perfect. I love you Willem Dafoe.

Wicked: If you are a theater kid, you will love this movie. If you you dislike theater, you'll probably hate it. I'm a nice in-between when it comes to liking theater. The Wizard of Oz was my absolute favorite movie as a child, so I feel like I had high standards for this. It was a fun watch, I definitely enjoyed the performances, and the references to the original Wizard of Oz, but I will say some parts were a little painfully cringe. I enjoyed Elphaba and Glinda's friendship and it even made me teary eyed at times.

My Old Ass: I love a movie that can make me giggle and also bawl my eyes out. Warning!! If you love your mom or hate growing up this movie will make u sob uncontrollably!!!! I really enjoyed the gen z acting, because it was actually pretty realistic and not insufferably cringe. Canada is so beautiful so the setting is BREATHTAKING. This movie was so cute and sweet.

Hell House LLC 2: The Abbadon Hotel: As someone who really loved the first hell house movie, I was so disappointed with this. The acting was SO BAD. My friend and I couldn't take the movie seriously because we were laughing at the actors the whole time. I will give them credit though, the directions of Hell House really know how to do a scary shot/ jump scare. Although the acting was shit, I still found myself terrified when things started to go wrong.

Smile 2: Similar to Hell House, I also loved the first Smile movie and was hoping for Smile 2 to be even better. Unfortunately it wasn't. The fact that I honestly just didn't care about the main character, the voss chugging (you will see when u watch lol), and the predictable, and cgi ahh ending ruined it for me. But I will say, the movie had some really good scares, again similar to hell house. Some parts of this movie have stuck with me because they were so fucked up. The car crash scene, the

The Night House: I had never heard of this movie before my friend showed it to me. I don't know how, because it was SO GOOD. It was so eerie and I lovee how the story slowly unfolded throughout the movie. It didn't have to use shock to be scary because, it just was! It was super unpredictable and honestly I don't know what else to say, you just have to watch it for yourself!!

M.O.M. Mothers Of Monsters: Yet again, another BANGER that I had never heard of until I watched it. For some reason, I thought it would be really cheesy, but it ended up being wayyy too real and scary as fuck. The son is so frightening and sooo insufferable, and you really start to understand where the mom is coming from. This is also a really good example of found footage done in a more unique way, which I appreciate. It weirdly reminded me of Spree. Another one you MUST watch for yourself. I can see people disliking this movie because it is very out of the box, but I enjoyed it.
