Dexter: is Dexter Morgan autistic representation?

I've been binge-watching 'Dexter' for a few days, and I gotta say, the amount of autistic traits I see in him are high. The only thing I've heard of him online is boys saying they relate to him cause he's 'emotionless,' which is a common accusation towards autistic people. 

I believe he is, I wanna hear others thoughts on him.
