Who’s your fav TWD character and why?

I like negan ! Not cuz I’m edgy (I mean yes he’s attractive) but I’ve studied his entire character . From start to finish. Even his spin off Arc. From why he acted the way he did , to how he’s reformed , his regret , ect ect ect. 

Spoilers for anyone who hasn’t watched below (also some TW talk maybe?)

In my opinion.. when he was getting the cancer stuff for his wife Lucille he wasn’t in charge. He didn’t take control of the situation and he let someone hold him over. Resulting in his wife to KO herself. This absolutely broke him. He couldn’t let anyone take control of him again. If yall remember he told his wife didn’t want to get used to it - the killing. He was afraid to even kill walkers. But once he saw his wife like that he immediately changed. And you can see it. He gained a sense of comfort with being in control. If he wasn’t in control he was scared. And he had become emotionally attached to the bat he named after his wife. (Fun fact his wife Lucille in the show is Jeffrey dean morgans irl wife too!) the scene where negan was talking to michone and bawling over his bat shows how much of a comfort object it was. “It’s just a bat negan” “no she’s not” . Poor guy. I know what he did was gruesome and uncalled for. But we’ve seen Rick kill 10x more people than we’ve seen negan kill. In his backstory episode he mentions not letting himself feel. So he was suppressing emotions for a long fuckin time. Probs helped him to the horrible things he did. But I also like megan cuz he killed that 🍇ist who was gonna do nasty things to Sasha in the cell. Yeah he had ladies be his wife , but he never made them do anything they didn’t want too. He said they were allowed to leave anytime, but you’d go back to not having perks yk. It’s complicated . Shane and the governor both SA people. So I will never understand how ppl like them more than negan. 

Yeah he killed Glenn, he was an awesome character. B but he rlly is a genuine person , Negan. 

I think we should think about why someone did something before we hate them. Not excusing that scene , it made me so mad too. I hated negan at first too. But grew to love and understand his character.

So I ask again, who is your fav and why? Just want some TWD fans to yap with !
