By Merriam-Webster's definition, the butterfly effect means: 'a property of chaotic systems (such as the atmosphere) by which small changes in initial conditions can lead to large-scale and unpredictable variation in the future state of the system' - what is yall's opinions on that?
Here's my take on this:
Theoretically speaking, the butterfly effect could be interpreted as that everything in your life does not happen by coincidences. Everything that happens (from meeting someone new, discovering a new hobby, bad or good news, etc) happens because of a choice you made. This choice could have been ANYTHING. Maybe you decided to go on a walk. Maybe you decided to stay home, go to the store, look up something new, saw a new video. Your life can change DRASTICALLY based off of one single decision you make. Knowing this, it means you can't escape something bad from happening. I know that a lot of us do our best to stay away from evil, but we can't avoid that. Everything we do could impact our lives, either a little bit- like changing something we wear- to a lot, such as changing our whole career or main hobby. And then those decisions could impact the rest of your life, as well. This is where I think that personality and style comes in. If you can't avoid bad things from happening, and choosing what good things come into your life, it is important to stay yourself, and not really change yourself for others, because at the end of the day, no matter what you do, majority of situations are not in your hand. Even though you can change a certain aspect, some other aspect in your life is likely to change. A lot of day-to-day situations aren't ones that you can control. You can't stop someone from saying something, from giving you something, or from something happening to you directly. All you can do is sit back and watch, or make a decision that might end up making the situation exactly the way you wanted it to be, or completely opposite from what you wanted the outcome to be. Sometimes life will direct you in a way that you are supposed to go, wether that be that you end up poor or rich. There is a reason and intention behind the things you cannot control. You'll make your best self-rediscovery after hitting rock bottom, all because you were supposed to. The butterfly effect is basically the way of life. If you never went here or there at a certain time, you would have likely never met this person or that person. And this applies for almost everything and anything. Lmk your guys's opinions!
