tips for independent study? QwQ

hi!!! im posting cause i feel so lost and behind TT_TT i'm supposed to be studying the history of tattoos in 4 different cultures, but we're 8 weeks in and i have NOTHING!!! im taking so so many classes and i feel so overwhelmed with classwork, does anyone have any tips for keeping on top of an independent study class with 5 other classes?

some tips to study that i use:

definitely try listening to lofi girl, that always helps
try and put your phone or laptop on silent
and lastly having my classmates yell "STUDY" whenever i slack off /hj

im also doing some remote classes :> what helps me a lot is timeblocking and using planners. planners and time blockinh have SAVED MY GRADESS.
im lowkey lagging behind in my english class (i have 2 missing assignments T-T) but ngl i be brainrotting while working in case im SUPER bored while doing my english hw.

anyway im a college first-year so idk if it's easier said than done for me (since i just came out of high school...) but good luck dawg :3
