Hey all!! Im James, Im an older fella going to college in the fall... Im 32, and I am nervous about going back into a school environment after being out of highschool for 13 years... But I was an EMT/Firefighter for many years after highschool till an on the job injury forced me to retire medically, drove tractor trailers cross country for a while too but Ive been looking for something a little more stable with being home! Ive always messed around with programming and software development, as a self taught programmer, I work for a startup video game development company, but I figured why not go get a degree? So... Im start in a few weeks earning a degree towards Computer Science/Information Technology! I live in and go to school in New Hampshire!
Any other new college folks around here? Or maybe just returning to school? Are yall excited? What are your majors!! Im just looking to make a few new friends along the way in this crazy journey called life haha!
