People in Dreams

Just saw a post online talking about how in dreams, if you say "we are in a dream right now" the people (characters?) in the dream get angry about it.

Did anyone experience something like this? I never had a lucid dream before, so I didn't have a chance but I'm really curious about it.

I once had a lucid dream in which the like dream police or whatever attempted to capture and torture me for it lol. I think they may have briefly succeeded bc after I was informed that lucid dreaming was Not Allowed there was a sort of purgatory segment where I was just standing in my driveway filled w/ despair but I did manage to escape somehow

i believe that when you dream youre in the astral realm (many, many people believe this actually not sure if you do or whatnot) but "people" in your dreams more often than not are NOT people like we are. if you notice youre in a dream, DO NOT make it known. DO NOT say ANYTHING about you dreaming. sometimes... things can attach themselves to you because they want to come back to Earth and use you to get there. sometimes those things are fuckin hostile, i know because ive encountered it. i think lucid dreaming is slightly (just slightly) different than when you notice youre in a dream. if some thing becomes hostile, fight back, do WHATEVER you can to wake up

Oh woah, thank u for the reply

I remember not being able to wake up from a dream when I was a kid, it just wouldn't let me, I would wake up again and again but I wouldn't be actually awake.

Sometimes it just wants to keep you in the dream world, I mean... we don't exactly know why we dream anyways.

Many scientists and artists got inspired by their dreams which is also interesting.

Whenever I dream it's always been lucid, but I've never encountered this before. The people in my dreams usually are sentient and self aware that they are in a dream so they never really freak out over me acknowledging it too.

Woah that's interesting, I recently started having more lucid dreams and sometimes wish I didn't because they get so realistic.

The thing is, when I was putting my phone below my pillow because I had alarms for the morning, I wouldn't dream at all. I would just wake up with no dreams.

After that I decided to put my phone somewhere far, I started having those long, lucid realistic dreams. So much that I couldn't handle it and decided to sleep with my phone again... lol

But then I went back to sleeping without my phone in the room, I think I'm getting used to it. Would be nice if I could practice it more, to get even more realistic dreams.
